Patch 1.52

+


Patch 1.52 for Cyberpunk 2077 is being rolled out and will soon be available accross all platforms! Here's the list of changes for this update.

Gameplay
  • Fixed an issue that could cause wrecked cars or multiple Nomad cars to spawn in traffic when driving fast.
  • Fixed an issue where first equip animation could be played repeatedly after recovering a throwing knife.
  • The Laminate-armor Media Ballistic Vest can now be found as loot in Japantown.
  • Fixed an issue where the recon grenade highlighted non-hostile crowd NPCs.
  • Fixed an issue where after using the Take Control quickhack on a device, camera axis were inverted when zoomed in.
Quests
  • Player won't be able to purchase again an apartment makeover they already own anymore.
  • Added the showering interaction to the Nomad Camp.
  • It won't be possible to hack the Northside apartment before completing Act 1 anymore.
  • Fixed an issue where Open World combat events and some scenes could remain disabled after visiting Afterlife until player fast traveled within Watson.
  • Automatic Love - Walking into a wall in the elevator in Megabuilding H8 will no longer cause instant death.
  • Blistering Love - Fixed an issue where Johnny could despawn if player left the booth before interacting with the projector, blocking progress.
  • Cyberpsycho Sighting: Demons of War - Fixed an issue where it wasn't possible to progress past the "Search the area to collect information" objective.
  • Epistrophy - Fixed an issue where the quest could reappear in the Journal instead of being marked as failed after player failed to retrieve any of the cabs.
  • I Fought the Law - Fixed an issue where River could drive out of the market area erratically and push V out of world bounds.
  • Life During Wartime - Fixed an issue where selecting a blue dialogue option twice upon arriving on the crash site blocked progression.
  • Path of Glory - Optional objective "Get dressed" will no longer be incompletable if player collected the clothes before it appeared.
  • The Information - Fixed an issue where the doors to Lizzie's were closed during the hours they should be open, blocking progression.
  • The Ride - Fixed an issue where Dex's car was swerving left and right when driving away.
  • With a Little Help from My Friends - Fixed an issue where holocalls and text messages could be blocked if player told Saul about Panam's plan while the Nomads were driving away.
Open World
  • Fixed an issue where summoned vehicles could be spawned far away from the player.
  • Suicidal Corpos in Corpo Plaza will no longer stand up after the fall.
  • Fixed an issue where an Assault in Progress in Arroyo wasn't visible on the map, hindering progress in The Jungle achievement.
  • Gig: Goodbye, Night City - Fixed an issue where the quest didn't trigger after approaching the area.
  • Gig: No Fixers - Fixed an issue where the "Park Iris' car in the garage" optional objective didn't complete if player stopped in front of the garage.
  • Gig: Playing for Keeps - Fixed an issue where all the enemies in the casino were set to Friendly.
  • Murk Man Returns Again Once More Forever - Fixed an issue where the Rayfield Caliburn didn't spawn.
UI
  • Added a quest tag to fixer rewards when they're first found in the stash.
  • Opening menus while reading a shard will no longer block the game.
  • It won't be possible to change the position of the marker when a time skip is in progress anymore.
  • Fixed an issue where the loot UI could flicker and change before picking up the item.
  • Fixed an issue where the English text "A Favor for a Friend" would be displayed regardless of the language version instead of the correct quest name for some tracked quests.
Visual
  • Fixed animations and missing or displaced objects in various scenes.
  • Fixed some issues with animation occurring when performing an aerial takedown using the Hidden Dragon perk.
  • Fixed an issue where sandstorms could appear in scenes they weren't supposed to.
  • Fixed an issue where foliage was not affected by different weather conditions.
  • Polycarbonate Sport Sunglasses will no longer be visible when switching between Third Person Mode and First Person Mode while driving.
Console-specific
  • Memory improvements and crash fixes on next-gen consoles.
  • Minor UI optimizations.
  • [PlayStation 5] Importing a save while not connected to the PlayStation Network will no longer block the option to continue the game.
  • [PlayStation 5] Fixed an issue where a corrupted save was created when player tried to import a PlayStation 4 save when no saves were exported.
  • [PlayStation] Fixed an issue where the "Press [Options Button] To Continue" screen registered pressing the button with a delay.
  • [PlayStation 5] Wet roads will now be as reflective as on the PC version.
  • [PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X] Changing the preset in Video settings will no longer set all the Graphics options to ON automatically.
  • [Xbox One/Xbox Series X] Disconnecting the controller and entering the pause menu at the same time will no longer result in player being stuck.
Stadia-specific
  • Enabled aggressive crowds on Stadia.
Hi thanks again! Uhh on PS5 during the quest search and destroy takemura always glitches out and stands directly in front of the breaching enemies... and dude how cool would it be if cops chased you in cars? or maxtac came at you from AVs?? super cool right?

i want to note however, since the previous patch I've been having an issue on PS4 now where, if I drive at high speeds or even run quickly using sprinting and charged/double jumps, to cover an area, the next time I stop, like to go to a store or talk to a quest giver or NPC, the area doesn't load in all the way. ie; doors that should be open are closed, and can sometimes be walked through, NPCs both hostile and friendly haven't loaded in, NCPD Crimes in progress don't have enemies after I've approached at speed until I collected the evidence, causing them to spawn after, drop points can't be interacted with, and more. It takes up to a full minute to have everyone and everything populate after moving across the map quickly like that.
Same for me. Don't even have to move quickly, just a faster than normal walk will cause the issue. It's driving me nuts!
 
Hey CDRP. Little background story. I have 4500 hours in the game called RUST and I just transitioned like few months ago. CYBERPUNK FOREVER BABY !!! Love this game. Well done to you all my Polish cousins (I born in Slovakia).

We really want these 5 things :
- Disactivate the HUD (especially the quest tracking, Hanako can wait)
- Reset Attributes (and not only the perks) and why not tie this to a quest?
- NewGamePlus
- Dodge button on single tap instead of double tap (giving the option to invert crouch and dodge)
- More vehicles/pedestrians on the streets for nextgen consoles
 
It depend, in cars, I don't think there is any xp since 1.5.
And also, you're sure that you didn't reach the max level ?
No I am not max lvl Ninjitsu not even close I’m low lvl.Unless you are gated until you raise your cool attribute higher than your ninjitsu like the crafting not being raised without higher tech ability lvl.
 
On the Steam version, I was in the process of getting "The Star" achievement pre-1.52 update. I completed the requirements after the 1.52 update and the achievement didn't show. Others on the steam forum seem to have a similar issue. I was enjoying my time with Cyberpunk but now my motivation has dropped to 0.
 
I haven't had most of the bugs posted in this thread, no issue in 1.5 gaining xp on anything, and most things work....but I just had the meeting with Odo next to the River and had my Female V use the Male voice for that meeting until the convo about meeting Okkako. Was kinda jarring.

Only other real annoying issue is the vehicles sitting still in the roadways when nothing is blocking them and they end up causing me to crash my bike because well, they should be moving.....

Yes, these would be fine additions. For the first one it could be solved by having the ability to deactivate all quests from being active.
I sometimes find myself saving up on quests that are in the process of "call ..." So the minimap wont be littered with a navigation path every time.

Probably gonna be one of these endless debates. I for one remain of the position we dont really need these, and the attribute reset, I dont even want it. Sometimes I feel like people want an RPG, including meaningfull choices, but as soon as they encounter the moment when they A) 'effed-up' their 'build' or B) need an attribute at high level which they dont have, then an option should be introduced to 'correct the problem'.
I sure as hell hope CDPR will not ever introduce the attribute reset.
Its a dumb mechanic in general.
Spec yourself a certain way and live with the conseuence of that decision. If it was what you wanted, make a new character next time and try something else.
And with regards to newgame+, specifically in relation to this game that allows you to make completely new characters with new backgrounds etc. Why? Is it only to blast theough the games earlygame as an insane OP character with weapons far out of proportion from anything in the environment? I dont see how this is remotely fun.

So, you guys are adding all this new gear... but no crafting specs for them, right? And there never has been a crafting spec for LMGs. Could we see better support for crafting playstyles? I mean, what if I have a high crafting and body score? Why leave a single gun the exclusive province of looting when I'm investing in my character being able to make better versions of weapons? I honestly think it'd be fun to use LMGs on my build, but it seems a bit bleh if I can't craft them.

Of course, the dream would be able to predefine their colors, but for now it'd be nice to have crafting specs for all item types that it makes sense for.
 
Hey, another patch launched, and another patch that does nothing for me. still can't launch it through GOG Galaxy, still can't see portraits of anyone who calls V, and still can't see V in the inventory or character customization, even when I start a new game. I know that it's apparently a problem with AMD drivers but at this rate I might as well uninstall and wait for Patch 2.0, or for AMD to update their drivers, which ever comes first...
 
Well, I wont be playing again anytime soon, there is no excuse for these stutters, especially since 3070 TI users are getting them. I waited along time for patch 1.5. Even when I completely turn off RT I still get the stutters, and i'm getting over 100 fps without RT on quality dlss, but the stutters still happen. WTF

I don’t know about everyone else, but I think I can speak For PC players I would rather have no more content or bug fixes for another 4-6 months if they did nothing but put out performance optimization fixes so that the game ran on bleeding edge and as well as older previous generation PC hardware the way that it should. I have a Ryzen 9 5950x and a Asus Rog Strix Rtx 3080 V2 OC and without mods to hold this game’s hand, it would be infuriatingly unplayable. I don’t mind the bugs if the performance at its core is stable, consistent and optimized.
You definitely don't speak for this PC player here who prefers regular updates and patches but in smaller doses instead of waiting 4-6 months for a single monster update.

Also, I still hold by the notion that the game is not badly optimised (anymore) given that my FPS (and the FPS of reviewers) are rather consistent now and I also do not see how an unmodded game might be "infuriatingly unplayable". Might I also ask which mods to hold this game's hand you are using? (Granted, there are still issues with the game and I do not say that there are also not any performance related issue. However, I am challenging the statement of the game allegedly being unoptimised.)

- Clean driver install using DDU in Safe Mode
- Disabling Defender AV
- With and without OC (Afterburner)
- Closing Corsair iCUE, Razer apps

Resorted to logging a case with Support. The game was working perfectly fine on 1.5, crashing since the update to 1.52.

Annoying :(
(I have to ask, are you using mods ? If yes, some mods can be "broke" by this update, like always).
You tried on a new save (new start), if it's the same ? (just create a random V, simply to reach the lifepath intro as fast as possible).

Could be annoying (depend of your connexion), can you try to properly reinstall the game (just keep your saves). Maybe something "went wrong" during the update of the game.

Edit : And launch the game without steam ? (Directly from he .exe in case)
 
I hope it will finally fix crashes on series x. It happen after loading game from quick resume and after some time in game and traveling away from saved location, for example from watson to pacifica by feet, or car game just sometime shutdown without any error or something.. Just boom, i am in dashboard..
