Pretty certain it's just a false positive.

I've once seen Norton detect itself as a a virus. On a brand new, out of the box PC a friend bought. Which, y'know, lol. Never had much faith in Symantec after that. Note that was over more than a decade ago.

Havent been able to play for more than an hour at a time since 1.6 came out.. Keeps freezing attempting to auto save for the millionth time... Can we get an option to disable auto saves as im sure thats why my game is unplayable....i have turned off cross play saves and constantly delete every auto save and even deleted older saves from before 1.6....fix your game so i can actually play please

I hope Wilson being bugged got fixed. Ever since I won the shooting competition, he just stands there with his arms crossed looking at the range. I've waited for days and reset multiple times but it doesn't ever fix itself

Yes, probably.

I came here on smallest of hopes that they might have fixed that, but no. No fix. I kinda knew this was gonna happen, the crash/freeze is not a problem as far as they're concerned, so it won't get fixed.
It's time to move on for good now.

I still consistently experience a bug where my footsteps will disappear and i have to reload my save to get them back, also from time to time when switching to Johnnys Pistol in particular the animation sound will be entirely silent. Any plans for a fix for these sound issues?

Can we please get the option to change the text size of more than just subtitles? This has been a huge issue since release, especially with timed dialogue options. Also, being able to change/remove tattoos would be a nice addition

• Walking speed on PC still resets to default running speed when entering many (seemingly scripted) places - V's apartment, Misty's place, ripperdocs, shops, etc.,
• Available cursor range in photomode is still restricted to 16:9 aspect ration when playing in 21:9, meaning that sides of the screen are inaccesible with the mouse.

Well, have you verified the integrity of game files?

Sounds like you got some corrupted files in there

Assuming you are not using/have used mods. If you are, or have in the past, then it's entirely possible they are causing the crash as the patch just came out and mods are in the process of being updated to function properly with the new patch.

Yeah, you turned them off in the launcher. That won't cut it. This isn't Bethesda's system of .esp on/off (even that isn't exactly perfect but that's another can of worms).

You can either perform a clean install of the game and forego mods, which would also most likely mean starting a new game or wait a bit and update all your mods. That's the nature of modding. Patches break things.

Hey, thanks for the continued renovations to the game! I am wondering if the bug where all sound intermittently becomes static and glitchy is on your radar? It cuts off dialog as well. I am on PC and I've had to play with my aydio muted due to this persistent issue. Love the game but this bug really makes a dent on enjoyment.

My pleasure, at least your list of mods is still fresh in your head. Should help with the updating!

Even if the game had started, loading your modded save would have very likely resulted in very weird behavior, if it loaded at all.

Then I got nothing! On PC myself. Can't say I've heard of that on PS5 but I'd suggest reporting it officially if you haven't already.
