Patch 2.0 Question

By Patching to 2.0 does that mean that I am constantly online or is it connected to this here forum, If I log out of this forum will it take me offline on Witcher 2? If not is there a way to unpatch the game back to 1.35 so I dont have the issue of being online all the time. I have extremely limited bandwidth and there are three of us that use the one ISP...

There is no internet connection needed to play The Witcher 2. The only reason you would need to be logged into here is if you wanted to post your Arena score to the highscores list here.

If you are using a version other than Steam just go to your install directory and open the witcher 2/bin folder locate the witcher2exe and right click it and select send to desktop then run the game from the new shortcut .

See I have a little lightening bolt on the start up menu of the game which when I hover over it says I am online, So if I log off from here, will that lightening bolt go away? Tommy I dont know why you told me that, that has nothing much to do with what Im asking...and can I unpatch this game back to 1.35?

If you run the game from the launcher it will always try to connect but if you run the game from the witcher2exe it will not even attempt to connect to the internet no matter what version you`re on in order to play the game that why i told you . Also the only way to revert to 1.35 is to reinstall the game .
