You're right that you have a right to be pissed if the product you bought doesn't work.
The thing people often forget is to remain fair and measured in their response. Anger is fine. There nothing wrong with being angry that the product you paid money for now doesn't work the way it's supposed to but anger should not be some crappy excuse to just lose your shit and go off on people or companies. And anger shouldn't be your reaction to minor stuff either.
Yet your post had nothing to do with the game itself. Your post was about the launcher and how it apparently magically erased everything good CDPR does or has done. Somehow this little launcher, that little launcher that adds at most a 1-2 seconds delay before you can play, was them sinking to new lows. That was your posts. It had nothing to do with crashes.
Being annoyed at the launcher is fine but what you did is take out your pitchfork, the tar and feathers and went after CDPR over a one second delay that wasn't there prior to patch 2.12. It's overblown anger over a terribly minor annoyance.
As for your crashes, I won't get into that too much since it's off-topic and apparently not an issue anymore but frankly I found your thread and the answer to your issue seems pretty clear cut and not something you can blame on CDPR. Official patches breaking your modded game isn't something to be blamed on developers. We choose to mod our games, that's on us. It's always been a fact of modding.
I posted here because this thread is called Patch 2.12. Not Patch 2.12 crashes and my question was related to Patch 2.12. I was annoyed that the game was finally working smoothly enough for me that now I have to deal with this bloat that is basically there to tell us about the Witcher game and the other stuff on the right that is basically a copy and paste from the Cyberpunk 2077 webpage. I read a lot of the posts here and not all are about crashes as you tell me. CDPR got into a lot of heat when they released this game back in 2020.
[...] Then the head dude apologized and blamed the pandemic for the broken game. There is a ton of stuff about the subject and I am not going to post it here. Bottom line is people lost trust in the company similarly as I did when I could not play the expansion. And not much has changed, the game is still buggy as hell and people are not happy. Anyway, as some people pointed out in this very thread, the game is still broken in many different ways. People are annoyed, disappointed and at many times helpless as in my situation over a month for support to respond to tickets. I am not angry. I am annoyed that they are bloating up the game and they have a ton of things to still fix in the game. As another poster said there are still NPCs floating in the air and even up to their necks underground as I have also seen myself. This has been an ongoing problem since Dec 2020. I have seen this among other problems and I have learned to accept it. It doesn't bother me as much. My game takes long enough to start as it is and now they add more crap to make it start even slower? At least add to the useless gear icon to never show this again or something else to skip the so called launcher as you said. I thought GOG Galaxy was the launcher? So now I need a launcher for a launcher with no easy way to bypass it? I am not expected to know that the EXE in the game directory will make the game start as it did prior to 2.12.
[...] I only come here If I have issues and then I also try to help others while I am here. CDPR should be in here helping people more if they really cared, not you or me. But there is nothing wrong with players helping players. It just seems that CDPR is helping less than they should. But they have time to make a new launcher for a launcher to plug their other products. Oh, and I almost forgot, in my previous problem my game was not modded. It still crashed with or without mods near the stadium.
