Patch 2.13

+
Hello , I don't know if the problem is known or an answer was giving but the fact that activating path tracing and ray recontruction make us crash can't be fixed ?

FSR 3.0 only, not 3.1?

Take notes from Nixxes, Horizon Forbidden West runs and looks great with FSR 3.1, Upscaler DLSS Quality + Frame Generation enabled on my 3060ti.

This is a disapointment for both AMD and Nvidia users. FSR 3.0 can't combine any upscaler with Frame Generation. And looks much worse than DLSS Performance, while 3.1 Quality is almost equal to DLSS Quality.

Edit: Changing settings does require a restart of the game. Let me guess, TV sounds are still broken?

Edit2: FSR 3 Native AA looks worse than DLSS Balanced, swallaws a lot of performance and Input Lag with FG goes from bad to intolerable. Completely unplayable this way.

So that's what happens if an outdated technologie is added that is known to be vastly inferior to it's next version. Why even bother with that?
probably this was an scheduled update, and even if i appreciate the continuing support to the game is very sad to see FSR 3 on september 2024 when FSR 3.1 released months ago. Gonna keep the very nice mods for dlssg to fsr fg

thats a problem on your side and offtopic. Reach out the support for private issues. PT and RR are working

After patching i cant start the game anymore(PC)

Running mods? If the answer is yes, that's your answer right there. Wait for your mods (especially frameworks) to be updated, update them and then it'll launch just fine. That's completely normal.

If the answer is no, then have you ever ran mods? If the answer is yes, then you will want to perform a clean install as described here:

If you never had any mods, then you might be facing a corrupted update download. It's rare but it happens, validate your files through whatever platform you use.

If that doesn't work, a clean install might still do it. If none of this work, then you may want to open your own thread and giving as much details as possible.

Just started the game and resumed where I left the last time. I don't think these bush textures in the video were that noisy (at native 1080p) in the last patch.

One thing that is desperately needed is a Vignette On/Off button. It's the only mod I use and I feel bad for console folks.

Better later than never. There is FSR 3.1 nowadays, so you are so slow and definitely late on the game with FSR3.0 only.
Got it CDProject Red? You make "games" but clearly are late on the game.
And, what a quality difference between BMW and CP2077.
CP2077 with it's plethora bugs and still lack of optimizations after 3 years of release look like a joke comparing it with Black Myth Wukong with few (3-4) bugs on day launch.
Take notes CDProject Reds and respect your customers, you know, those who still buy your games. Now, you realize that you cannot gaslight players anymore with false claims and release an unfinished game, and still not optimizing and patch it after 3 years. You was just served with a standard to rely on, and yes, this standard is Black Myth Wukong.
And learn a lesson from it. Since CP2077, I will not buy any CDProject game, even after 2 years of release, pre-orders are out of the question. Maybe after 3 years, I will consider it and only on big discounts. Instead I will definitely PRE-ORDER any game I am interested in, made by Game Science who made this Black Myth Wukong gem.

Man, was so excited when I saw visual fixes in patch notes, was hoping that the Path Tracing black cloth textures bug got fixed. But nope, still as immersion breaking as ever

If you guys do another patch in the future, one thing I would REALLY love to see is missions not automatically switching just because I got some sort of update about a storyline mission via text of holocall. I can't even tell you how many times I was in the middle of driving to a fixer gig or whatever that I wanted to do only to have the mission switch the map location on me. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal - and it isn't - but it is nonetheless infuriating.

I don't know, I'm no game designer or even some great gamer but I'll tell you what, in my first playthrough, I missed A LOT of content just because I went to to Nocturne Op55N1 much sooner than I should have simply because the game kept nagging me to do so.

Yoooooo, that's even worse than 2.12. Goddamn!

I had been working on a mod to address these npc by npc, this guy was at the back end as I imagined it would be iffy - that looks appallingly bad now! I'm not sure I can fix this at this rate.

EDIT: FYI, this isn't a texture bug. It has to do with (I believe) how hastily meshes were seemingly ported into the 2.0 build of the game. Specifically the lower LOD meshes aren't being culled and hidden meshes are still having their shaders rendered. The 6th street guy is a result of his body beneath the clothing occluding the light outside of his jacket (I think). Vanilla hair has a really bad issue where lower LODs are doing the same thing, causing "black spots" to blip all over the NPC's head when they're moving. Misty is especially egregious in this regard.

For me this patch didn't help at all. Still crashing to desktop after 10 minutes. Shame, I really loved this game. I might try someday uninstalling everything and doing a fresh windows install, but today is not that day.
Are you sure your hardware/GPU is stable? When I was overclocking, Cyberpunk quickly became my gold standard of testing. If I was stable, I could play for 8 hours without issue. Even 15 MHz too high or 3mV too low, and the game would hard crash within 10 minutes. Every time. Not like other games where instability crashes might take hours or weeks to show up. I had an overclock that worked fine in GTA V, for example, but would bomb out in about 3-4 minutes in Cyberpunk.

Even if you don't overclock, it's still possible your GPU is unstable -- I've gotten a few factory lemons over the years. You could try using overclocking software like Afterburner to underclock your hardware by a few percent and see if the issue goes away.
