Yeah, but if "something" is no longer allowed in a game on PC (no matter what it is or why), it should no longer be allowed on consoles either (PS/Xbox).
Entirely correct but the fact no one else has reported that doesn't necessarily mean it's false. The patch is still fairly new and it requires someone playing on PC or console from the same region, notice it and come here to really confirm whether there is truth to the claim or not.
Alternatively, CDPR could clear that up quickly with clearer patch notes. "Other stability and visual fixes." is pretty vague and could include compliance with local laws in a specific country/state.
I'm not saying what @GeminiSweet59 thinks has changed is correct but it's not far fetched either and without knowing what those alleged changes are, it's really impossible for me to tell.
EDIT:
As for your edit, it really doesn't apply in this case. If the patch itself applies files that will change those ads, it really doesn't matter. Now if you were, say, in Canada when you patched and then moved to Texas, as long as no new patch is applied, you would be fine.
I did notice a new bug in 2.13, though I can't say whether it is due to my mods or the patch itself.
Iconic weapons randomly downgrading themselves to white quality, and cannot be upgraded fully afterwards. Tier 5 seems to be max. Very strange. It happened to my Hercules 3AX and Raiju.
I notice that the moderators are very active, so instead of just censoring, I want to tell you that I know how to solve all the problems of cyberpunk, the game now works as before. The problem is the RAM and XMP profiles that have always been unstable! Now it may be that 80% of the customers have a RAM memory out of two defective and consequently on 16GB only 8-9GB works, you have to set the paging file between 200-3000 on the disk on which the game is installed.
The Rockstart and Bardurgatez titles are able to take the paging file from the disk on which windows is installed, yours cannot do this.
After the disappointment that the CDs were symphonies, deluding myself that it was a physical copy like GTA V, I already had to understand that [...]!
I had a lot of fun and in the end to continue playing I should buy the DLC (buy the game again) and buy an RTX40 and a new processor because it is evident that the 2.0 update has voluntarily sent my i5 9600k and my RTX 3070OC Asus into planned obsolescence.
It is really sad that CDprojekt took part in corruption and "power games" within the sector.
The saddest thing is that they ignore that there is a crash problem voluntarily created at the time I also made a comparison demonstrating that with DSR & DLSS you could get BETTER results than path tracing.
Clearly Cyberpunk is just a promotional billboard to milk customers. The score that the phantom slavery and cyberpunk update deserves would be 77 on metacritic because Observer is clearly superior.

I am continuing investigations by moving the RAM, I want to point out that I have been studying the problem for over 5 months.
The problem appeared after the next-gen update of Fallout 4,
it affected all cracked and purchased rockstar games, and then also affected the Bardurs Aiz 3 menus.
It is concluded that 90% of users have not correctly installed their Nvme SSD which causes 60% of the problem, unfortunately a manual is not given at the time of purchase that explains all the needs and phases to be carried out in the Bios, not even graduate technicians can know it, because either you know it or you don't.
Usually the RAM has optimized slots, which improve performance, changing slots the crashes stop, so the problem could be the motherboard and in fact the z390 A-prime did not receive updates during the Sars Gatez-19 crisis that affected Intel processors.
All this supports the definitive theory that the problem is connected to Windows 11, motherboard and RAM + XMP.
If CD Projekt is made up of adults, I recommend contacting Nvidia as they are aware of the fact that all of this can be solved using a pill: use FXAA instead of MSAA or TAA.
But we all know that pills are good for health and bad for education.
Here we are talking about industrial espionage, sabotage and attempts to boycott products and brands.
I do not accept opinions, it's just the way it is.
I point out that the I5-9000 is the most used processor currently (about 80% of the WORLD) hitting the processor and motherboard means hitting the whole world. The PS5 pro uses a zen2 processor with imperceptibly superior capabilities, the PS4gate that sank Cyberpunk hid the prelude to the largest hacker attack in modern history...
Bartmoss theory
reading through all these posts of bugs makes me think that because of CDPR's poor community involvement especially surrounding game patches, people are now plagued with a "bug placebo", thinking there's something wrong with the game when there isn't. some people know what to do with the bugs they see or hear - reproduce and show proof. though, it's hard to reproduce bugs and show proof of them when the common sense needed to take those actions isn't so common. isn't there a FAQ and/or tutorial somewhere on how to report these things? should they even be reported if supposedly all persons working on CP2077 have been relocated to Orion? communication's needed, CDPR
CDPR, if you want less work on yourselves, less time spent censoring, then spend more time communicating. spend less time on promoting things like the recent "2-year edgerunner anniversary" and spend more time having developers talk about their decisions behind the patches on redstreams if you're not going to specify on them in the patch notes. after all, people know you for your games, not your cartoons. you're a gaming company, not a cartoon company

There are numerous users (myself included), as well as many renowned modders, who over time carefully reported the occurrence of a plethora of bugs and glitches to CDP, which basically is doing QA for free, and well, much of this stuff still hasn't been fixed in years. I bought the game in 2020, and unfortunately I am aware of those many things that are still broken.
So, no, we are not making up things.
I totally agree on the lack-of-communication part.

The suggestion that CDPR isn’t aware of the bugs has no basis in reality. They’ve not only been reported to support, but discussed ad nauseam in various forums. They know exactly what they broke with 2.11/2.12.
Refusing to fix what they broke is a choice. Refusing to talk about what they broke is a choice. Feigning ignorance and telling players to submit bug reports (again) as if it’s the first time anyone’s mentioned such a thing is a choice (and an insult) CDPR made.
It’s their product. They can do (or not do) what they want. But let’s not pretend it’s anything other than what it is.
There are a lot of people who are in need of more update(s). Players who have been dealing with numerous bugs, localization issues, dissatisfied AMD and console players. If you're concerned of your mods, then I suggest that you disable automatic updates or play directly from Cyberpunk2077.exe. Exe file should be there whether you have the game on GOG or Steam since it's DRM free, I guess Epic too?
Welp, I just heard back from CDPR support. I had asked if we can expect the end cutscene bug to be fixed, whether there was a temp solution in the meantime, or if CDPR has decided to move on. They said they had no further information to share regarding the issue.
So, it sounds to me like they're not working on further bug fixes and have moved on (whilst giving themselves leeway to change their minds in future).

That is the standard answer they've been giving all the time, with small variations.
Since the 2020 shitstorm and the first announcements they had about the upcoming patches, which resulted in further disappointment, insults and threats, given the state of the game back then, they decided to go silent and not to disclose anything. I am of course not justifying any violent behavior, no one has the right to treat people that way.
But in any case, this was something I could understand at that time, but now the opinion about the game changed drastically and they surely could be more open about their next steps. Heck, it would be even more meaningful if they just said it's over, so that eventually modders can start/keep fixing what's broken, without making their job useless if another patch releases.

It's not the answer I've been getting after sending like dozen bug reports, though. The support team usually said something like 'we're already aware of this issue, but thank you for contacting us' or 'we didn't know about this issue but now aware of it, thanks for telling us!'. That answer sounds very ambiguous and even evasive to me

That's not been my experience at all - in my case, they've been very responsive with variations of "we are aware of this issue and gathering data" or "we are investigating this", etc., often with questions to help them further understand and reproduce said problems. They've always come across as proactive and historically they've fixed almost every bug I've ever reported... up until around 2.11. Then the language changed to variations of "thanks, we appreciate your feedback". That's when it sounded like they had started to move on.
What you're talking about is more to do with the general PR.

Honestly, as someone with first hand experience in this type of corporate communications, despite how much I would love more communications from CDPR, I understand their silence.
Communicating in today's landscape is just terrible. People have a tendency to interpret things the way they want to, to focus on the negative, to feel entitled to more, to attack and dissect every little statement and so on. Then there is the unavoidable follow up questions. Who do you answer? How many do you answer? One? Two? All of them is impossible but if you answer a few, the others feel left out and that conjures up another shitstorm. On top of all of that, every answer has to be reviewed and approved for release.
It's just a pain and the bigger the company the more bureaucracy there is behind these approvals and the larger your consumer base, the worst the shitstorms are.
And, in all honesty, gamers are some of the most reactive consumers out there.
With that said, they should be clearer on what little they do communicate.
Statements like "various fixes" instead of precise patch notes is just sad.

I would say it's about the way you formulated your question. Based on your post, you were not so much reporting a bug but asking about whether there will be future support and you received a typical corporate response.
This type of question is not something that would be answered on a one-on-one basis. It's made through announcements through the companies or through media.
I often got both answers, either "they are aware", or there is nothing they can disclose at the moment. However, I must admit I took a break at opening tickets after the 2.0 update released. It might be the answer koalahugs got points to the fact they won't do anything about it.

Also if in a minority, here I should be able to share what I think. Your view is no less valuable, but also not more valuable. Though, it's remarkably off that anyone would stop to comment to counter-comment on someone opening up what is their biggest worry at the moment.

Based on my post, to be fair, not the actual email exchange. For context, I was reporting the end cutscenes bug with save files, video, and instructions on how to reproduce etc. (I also asked if we can expect it to be fixed). Regardless, I take your point.
It does sound like a typical corporate response but the observation is, the emails I've received in the past have typically indicated that they're working on it, whereas now, while still willing to at least look at bugs (probably just in case it's something devastating), based on the shift in language, I suspect they've just made a decision not to fix any of them unless one actually is devastating.
I assume even tiny fixes (like the TV audio fix), would still cost a bunch in terms of running it through QA, and perhaps they've just decided to cut their losses now.
Except modders should be able to concentrate on the new and different. Not cleaning up the mess CDPR left behind when a new patch or release turns out to be not completely housebroken.
How are we supposed to focus on 'the new' when the broken very often effects our work, perhaps even is the subject of our work, and ensuing updates could break the entire mod itself? I held off updating my most popular mod(s) after 2.12 almost completely broke it, as a result of how many things it touches - including CDPR's own RT/PT f*ck ups. All this hassle whilst they still did not address a single visual bug, not one, most of which Support confirmed with me well in advance that CDPR was aware and "looking into it"... even though I handed them the fixes on platter. Very, very specific bugs. Some of the which CDPR not only documented in patche notes twice, but even tweeted about being fixed. No, they were not fixed.
I get around to updating finally, assuming nothing is gonna happen because it's been seven months now, and whaddaya know - 2.13 arrives and sadly it's shit. I say that in all sincerity. This is a shit patch. I will finish updating my mod for 2.12a or whatever it was called, but not this garbage.
Everything below here isn't directed specifically at you -------------------------------------------
I want them to do well and I've defended CDPR on several occasions even though I'm under no obligation to do so at all; I'm a mere customer. As such I want the game to do what it says it will do, especially when at one point it did do those things. Several of these things used to work. In game version 1.63 path tracing was nearly flawless. In 2.0 the Ai was actually pretty goddamn good, I mean really - they delivered on that... until a minor patch broke it and it's remained mediocre ever since. It's not at all motivating when they have continued to brag about those things even after breaking them and continually making them worse with each following patch while also acknowledging on the dl they're gonna do something. Which is it, guys?
We're well beyond a point of secrecy being something mutually beneficial here. A mere handful of us play the game at this point and this silly "felt cute, might update later" expired a year ago. It's been a year since Phantom Liberty released. Either park some people for a few weeks and fix the broke shit - yes, much of this stuff could be fixed with legit effort, by a small crew, in a few weeks OORRRR just tell everyone "this is seriously it, we're done. it is what is is. see ya later".
We love the game, this modding community has real staying power, passion, and even organization I've not seen before outside of rare instances. The tools the WKit team have put together and continued developing are truly incredible and they're still putting serious effort into ongoing improvements right now. All for free. However; fewer and fewer will come back when we have no idea when or how severely our efforts will be tossed into a wood chipper, with no warning, and virtually no improvement to the basegame experience. That's why them being open and honest would be better for everyone, including CDPR.

I’m referring to the ideal world where CDPR doesn’t abandon their responsibilities of fixing their mistakes to modders. You should be able to play with the new puppy, and not have to run around picking up poop off the floor. I’m on your side. Updating your mods to work with an updated release is your cost of doing business. Fixing broken features of the vanilla game shouldn’t be.
And as someone who prefers to play the game unmodded, I shouldn’t have to resort to installing third party fixit mods just to play the game as CDPR intended. (Though I do appreciate the modders’ who make the effort CDPR refuses to make.)
Also if in a minority, here I should be able to share what I think. Your view is no less valuable, but also not more valuable. Though, it's remarkably off that anyone would stop to comment to counter-comment on someone opening up what is their biggest worry at the moment.
I never stated anything about my view being more valuable and yours being less. And as far as I'm aware, anyone's open to post opinions and counter them on this forum, like in this specific thread. Unless it's to start an argument. My comment there was basically about wanting future updates, despite them possibly breaking mods and suggesting the workaround for players who enjoy mods. And btw, I was suggesting that because I was also testing out few mods shortly before the update and it worked just fine for me.
In fact, comments like your concern have been around for like, over 3 years now, every time they would release the update after another. And at this rate, we don't even know who's in the minority. One way to satisfy most of players would be CDPR releasing one or two updates to fix major bugs at least, before moving on, but I'm doubtful it'll happen any time soon.
This game so much deserves to be just perfect, that's a real shame so many people are dissapointed. For me it's a near perfect experience, so I'm not whining, but I'm pretty sure this game will be played for years... I have Fallout: New Vegas waiting in the pipeline to start and when I see all the mods and bug fixes for this game, this makes me think how the developers could have left it in this state.
Also, now i understand that Ultra settings in the game should be absolutely top notch and beyond reach of the current PC generation - not even to be used. In 5 - 10 years after release, people would appreciate them .
