Exactly Enhanced Edition for Witcher 1 was also a free update. CDPR amazing since 2007 xD

Son let me tell you the story of CDProjectRED the company who changed gaming. it all started in 2011 with the release of The Witcher 2 a game which bested very other in graphics, gameplay and history. but that wasn't all, in 2012 they launched the Enhanced Edition and while they could have sell it in 30 Dollars they didn't, they gave it for free to anyone who had already bought the game. and then when they thought the game was over they kept releasing and releasing updates. and thats how the gaming industry should always be.

2011??? Oh! then... who on earth create The Witcher: The Rise of The White Wolf?? Damn! I always believed its was CDPR at 2007!!!

the inventory was done right back in... you know... 2007 they did not need to "consolize" it like 1 year before an actual console release

I think your mixing something up, The Witcher: The Rise of The White Wolf was outsourced by CDPR to a French developer. The game never saw the light.

You can now download the new patch for the PC version of the Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. It upgrades the game to version 3.2 and modifies the UI significantly. This update is enabled by default but is optional and can disabled in Configurator DLC Menu. If you encounter problems with the automatic patching system, please download the patch manually from here (For full list of changes, also click here).

Now, if you’re thinking to yourself “These changes sound familiar”, you are right! David Block, who originally created the modification described above, now works at CD Projekt RED and is the author of this patch. Thanks to your feedback, he was able to improve some of the elements and make it even better than before.

As we are talking about A BETTER UI, how about GAMEPAD ui?
Even since release of x360 version it was not improved and featurea all flaws from initial release, including misleading BACK button in tutorials and wors of it - loot pickup UI which allow only to LOOT ALL and missing LIST of separate LOOT items to pickup (which is present for mouse UI.

These schemes i made year ago show how to fix current gamepad ui and controls problems:

simply great,great thanks

you are the best...
you should be a real example for all the other game developers/publishers...

the difference: i'm happy to have given you my money ;), on some other publisher i'm just pissed ;)(...EA/bioware),

keep it up that way and never change

can't wait for your next game.

YYEEEESSSS!!! Thank you CDPR!! I have been waiting for this for so looong!

@CDPR Now if there is a patch with an option to make the Dark items effects less overwhelming, if it was more like a little dark smokey effect and make the sounds more like a low whisper and to have normal colored vision, now that would be AWESOME! When you don't have a complete darkset then the original effect can be on and your life is slowly draining.

The second and final qualm I have about the game is the color of Geralts hair, he seems to have silver hair instead of white, so if you could make it an option to have the hair whiter like in the Witcher 1, I would have no more issues with your absolutley brilliant game, Witcher 1 and 2 are among my favorite games of all time, it is just some tweaks that I feel are needed, like you did in the 3.2 Patch, awesome and Thanks for making the games and keep supporting it.

I remember using this ui mod for an earlier playthrough. Including it as official content makes a lot of sense, because it's that good. Now, if only you guys could kill input lag next.

This patch is great, but still doesn't fix the biggest problem I have: the size of the text is way too small, my head hurts after playing for half an hour. Until now I tried using all sorts of user-generated mods to partially fix this, but none of them work in version 3.2. Is there any way we could get an *official* patch that allows for a larger font?

After installing this patch game is broken and crashes every so often.

Also the UI will dissapear this happens every 10-20 minutes making the game unplayable, how do I uninstall these patches? I hate game breaking patches.

If you have the EE patch then simply reapply the EE patch which should bring you back to the 3.0(EE) . If you bought the game as EE already then reinstall the game . Be sure and back up your gamesaves to be on the safe side .
