patch 3.3 to 3.4

patch 3.3 to 3.4

My game version is 3.3 (bought on Steam).

I downloaded patch 3.4 and installed it and nothing was change.
I tried to install the patch manually, but still game show v 3.3 .

During installation, there were no errors.
It's quite disturbing because I really want to update.. what is wrong?

Shouldn't the update comes directly from steam ?

Yes, it should.
From the REDKit site:

REDkit requires a copy of PC version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, installed on your HDD. The game has to be patched up to version 3.3. Make sure you have downloaded SQLite appropriate for your system or download this one. Right click on the file and run it as an administrator.

Steam copies of the game will be automatically patched to REDkit (Gamers' Edition). Gamers' Edition allows you to play mods created in REDkit, however, it does not include the editor. Do not install the REDkit patches downloaded from this website on your Steam copy of the game.

@darkeuphoria - I suggest you run the validate option from the Steam library, to see if there are errors as a result of you installing this patch. Don't install any manual patches to the game from here, just take what Steam gives you.

Just to add a little . If the original launcher looks like the attached pic then you are on the Steam version of REDkit (gamers edition)
