So yesterday i learned the hard way Adda's ability triggers on BOTH turns...

Thank you DRK3 for letting us know, that clarifies a doubt we all had since the introduction of this patch.

Unfortunately, I have to report that nothing seemed to change when it comes to ranked games. Yes, once in a while there is someone trying to play Constructs or Adda, but at level 6 almost all the games are against the usual toxic decks.
If it's not versus Nilfgaard Mill or Enslave or Statuses, it's against Ogroids, Vampires or Renfri+Vampires, Scoiatel Elven Deadeyes, Northern Realms Mutegenerator or Inspired Zeal+Demavend

This is what happens when you don't balance the game. Damn, this was originally a nice game.

I guess it's time to uninstall.

Okay, I somehow missed this in the card description, but Mahakam's Pass creates three random dwarfs to choose from? Kinda makes little sense - shouldn't the home fortress of all Dwarfs provide any specialist you need? The devs could at least add it as a condition - for devotion or having a Dwarf on the board.

I think that adda is even bugged for certain cards. It triggered for example on certain constructs even if they are not cursed. In my option it should only trigger for cards on her side. And please check those constructs.

Regis blood lust is just silly. You literally cannot pass. Opponent slides this card into your deck and you are a prisoner. Wheres the strategy in that? I'm supposed to heatwave my own 20p card? God forbid when it summons it to my field. It's insta loss. Banishing my whole deck.

Yep. This is by far the worst card design in years. -_-

I just played 2 games.
The first one was against a player who tried to use his Regis against me. I immediately forfeitted.
The second one was against a player using a Nilfgaard Mill deck, who obviously turn after turn was thinning my deck over and over. I immediately forfeitted.

That's enough! I cannot breathe. It's beyond ridicolous. Far beyond.

I thought that this new patch would bring some fresh air, but it was an illusion. Every day you have to navigate through the same toxic decks, especially Nilfgaard.

Very angry and disappointed customer here.

Ah yes, but the artworks are stunning, and the affiliated Youtubers are happy. That's what matters, not the customers (the playerbase who dedicated lots of time, passion and sometimes money to this game).

Now it has a good potential actually, in my opinion this change was not bad.
Let's say that for example you are playing against a Nilfgaard Cultists deck, and it's the last round. The opponent has probably more than one tall card towards the end of the round. If the opponent has for example a card with 25 power, Udalryk an Brokvar 's order can change it from 25 to 7.

How is it possible you guys think it's a good idea to let this card stuff into the opponent's disk and mill the whole deck at once?
Or a 10/20 card can be so easily changed to another card like using a 4/6 Cursed Knight?

Stupid card. They think it's fine because win rate isn't high enough but if players complaint about Regis: Bloodlust enough then most likely they will change Golyat from Deathwish: Your opponent Summons the highest-power unit from their deck to the opposite row to Deathwish: Your opponent Summons non - neutral highest-power unit from their deck to the opposite row. But they will not address the core problem which is Regis: Bloodlust himself.

but then you cannot mix it with ulula to make double damage anymore. also you now cannot attack other of your own cards. why they did not change any other card? on that case we could use udalryk to help to trigger the berzerk condition on said card with its ability to attack ally cards. maybe your idea of how to use a card with that description is good, but why udalryk had to be the card to be sacrificed?

Regis Bloodlust may be the most problematic card, but Adda is the most bugged.

Did you know she triggers on MOVING a cursed unit? Yep, and it happens for both player's turns - i moved a revenant with siege ladder and she boosted, and on the enemy turn a revenant was moved with ST vrihedd dragoon and it also boosted Adda.

Want more? She triggers when Botchling transforms, easy 5pts every turn (but it gets insta-countered )

Well i have to say, Henry its a hell of rng fiesta.

I know, i know, ng is so toxic, and i also think that, but playing assimilate with this new Card and also torres first form its amazing.

I had a game where my opponet was using MO frost and boosting One 4p unit to stay with dominance

Ok its an error continue boosting the same unit, because opponet could have a tall remove. But in defende of my opponent, both of us was trying to get dominance and He problably thought i didnt have a tall remove, other wise i would insta remove that.

And He was right, o indeed didnt have a tall remove. But The gentleman Henry created a yaga and that beatifull little monster was in my hand. Só guess what? When i get Sabbath, put that little baby and consume his boosted 4p Card.

Dont have to say that was an insta forfeit hahaha

Boosting when moved is obviously a bug, but boosting when transforming is not a bug, when unit is transformed it "enters" the battlefield, though "appears" would be a better word for the tooltip.

Something i've forgot to bring attention to, until now:

Where are the year of Uroboros kegs? On the last two years, there were only kegs added on the day of the last card drop, which i didnt like but it was better than nothing. Now, i was expecting a similar keg with the Heritage update, containing only the 60 cards released this year but its nowhere to be found.

Are they gonna release it later, when nobody actually needs it anymore? Or it was never on the plans?

(EDIT) Another thing: i tried the cycle filter today, to help me build a deck that fits several possible cycle quests.
The problem is i wanted Cursed Toad, Merchants of Ofir or Iron Judgment cards, but they were drowned among cards from the starter set. Result: it was f***ing useless

Do only I have one impression after a few days of the new season? Gwent was lately NG card game, now its NG statuses game. At rank 3-1 I challenge a lot of NG statuses which I feel toxic and boring. I see statues I press esc+enter to not waste my time. I belive NG status deck was so weak it needed additional damege from Deithwen Arbalest. Players complains about Onager and Funeral Boat lets give the same NG. Why ST, MO and SY don't have such card?
I don't know the plans for cards reworks/nerfs/buffs before Gwentfinity starts but if nothing changes I see a dark future for Gwent.

This complaint is absolutely valid. Even I’ve barely had time to play since the update, I don’t need to encounter Deithwen Arbalest to note the issue here.

Thirsty Dame is a borderline OP card with the same trigger and boost rather than damage. But Dame is 5 provisions, vulnerable to tall punish, not a removal tool, and far less easy to copy a million times.

The comparisons with Onager and Funeral Boat are also valid — but (on paper at least), Deathwen Arbalest is even stronger. It is much easier to trigger than Funeral Boat (which would be an OK card if I’d didn’t unduly punish all decks that play low power cards). It is a provision cheaper than Onager. And it is better than either in that the damage is not random. And it’s easier to copy too.

While I am a big advocate of stronger bronze cards, there are special issues when these cards are too broken: at least two copies must be dealt with and their low cost allows more provisions for broken gold cards. Something like Inspirational Ballad (a potential 24 points for 5 provisions) doesn’t really bother me — it will never reach that potential, it doesn’t fit in a cohesive deck, and it doesn’t disrupt the opponent’s board. Deithwen Arbalest has a similar ceiling, fits several already strong decks, and is a board wipe tool.

I believe Arbalest is a deeper threat to Gwent’s ongoing playability than any other card dropped or rebalanced. With the likes of the new Regis and Princess Adda, this is a major criticism.

I asked Vlad in Twitter if there will be any reworks (I asked in the context of ST cards, as you know, ST got the worst and weakest of all cards in the last drop of Gwent). Vlad replied that there are no plans for any reworks before Gwentfinity and that there could be some buffs/nerfs to cards if it warrants.

So I am afraid that the current ability will be the final ability for the cards, that would include Regis. Because, I think Gwentfinity would only allow provisions and power buffs/nerfs and not the abilities.
