Rodik takes a moment to respond into his com. Suspicious of anyone potentially overhearing or overseeing him he says, "Hey bird, what's up? Need a hand?"

Rodik keeps apace with Gremlin and waits to see where he goes with this.
One of the gangers starts to object to Hernando leaving but is distracted by Talon and Gremlin approaching (( good thing no one is carrying any heavy weaponry, would sorta give them away )) and Hernando takes advantage to slip away.
Gremlin approaches all smiles and friendly, camera held in plain sight but not yet (apparently) filming. "Ya'll on yer way ta the concert? Or didn't like the music 'an are leaving?"
(( To make a long story short over the next couple minutes most of the gangers are thrilled with the idea of appearing in the news, but the one in charge is not. And reminds the rest they're here for a reason. So they basically tell Gremlin and Talon to F* off. ))
"Well, guess I'll go find someone else ta interview." Responds Gremlin. As he and Talon take their leave, not in the same direction Hernando went.
(( This pretty much ends the 'Great Chase' and Gremlin tells everyone to head to the underground station while he goes to the rooftop to collect his gear. Still wearing his 'News Net 54' ID in case anyone stops him. Besides, he's now heading toward the problem, no thief in their right mind would do that! ))
Later at the NCART station Gremlin finally rejoins the rest of the team.

"Well, I never had to worried about that kind of stuff: there was always someone else. It makes some sense, but that takes some time, I can't turn in a jack of all trades in a couple of days. BUT I could buy some extra gear to help that".

"I get the sentiment. I've got some chips to help with locks and systems when I'm running solo, but they barely make up for my clumsy hands, I'm just not a tech guy. But for someone with some talent, chips could be a short term solution to your problems."
(( And with that everyone gets a whopping 10 IP! Would have been more but you kinda blew the job. It's still early in the game so if you want to rearrange your character skills a bit feel free, but for Hernando this will be his last freebe, Talon still gets one more. Remember your target number is generally 15, so Stat+Skill+Average die [5-6] roll should be 15+. Gear helps, and usually [but not always] stacks. ))
(( Since we seem do be down to Hernando and Talon (maybe Setsuna?) I plan to bring Chita back for the next job, she's decent at B&E, but don't plan on keeping her, she's a gap filler to give you a little time to develop some skills and get some gear. ))

First he goes to a local fixer to see about modifying his helmet so that his Com more comfortably fits inside while worn.
With that taken care of he spends his downtime training with his master/room mate and brushing up on his lockpicking skills.
When he receives the communicae from Gremlin he responds affirmatively, "Sounds good Gremlin. Name the time and location and I'll be there. While I have your attention, your a fairly accomplished techie. Have any lead on some tech I could pick up to help with cracking locks".
