as jerome sets the explosives he tells talon and hernando to get some of the furniture thats handy, he will set a timer for an appropriate amount of time that will be enough to to put the mattress, autovacc, boxes and furniture and run for cover

tech(7[8])+demo(1)+juryRig(7)+1d10(4)+luck(5) = 24(25) [[https://rolz.org/dr?room=cyberpunk , btw how much of the explosives will it take? , and i assume youll behind the scene the timer?]]

(( Timer or radio detonation, it'll work with either/both. Since it's concrete it'll take most of the explosives, you can save out enough for a couple locked doors but that's about it. Just let me know where you are when you set of off, and I'll expect to know the same from Hernando and Talon. Out in the hallway, and around a corner from the room should be enough ... oh ... and have your hearing protection in ! ))

Once everything is set, Talon will step out into the hall and make his way out to the stair-adjacent lobby. The time it will take to run back to the closet from here wont make a significant difference for Talon, but the extra distance, may save his senses enough to make the difference in the ensuing chaos. While waiting he fishes a flashlight out of his jacket and lowers his smart goggles into place. Once the charges are ready to go, he'll cover his ears.

shed will tell talon and hernando that they will probably have to pile the items or find a fast way to deal with as much of the items in the armory since breaching it is eating up alot of the explsovies that they would other wise have to work with, then to find a place for protection, then huff it himself to the hall and find a side room or side hall far enough that will give him enough protection to not 'rock his world' (or to have enough protection for minimal effects) he'll crouch into a semi-ball protect his ears as best he can and brace himself before triggering the explosives.

Hernando makes it into the room first, it's filled with smoke, smoldering debris, and he almost falls into the newly created breach. The room below is has dust, bits of concrete, and in one corner a pile of boxes/crates. There is a light switch, but the explosion has destroyed the overhead lights ... so flashlights it is.

Tick ...

Talon runs back to the Maintenence room and tries to get stock of the situation. Did the door somehow remain intact after the explosion? Shining his flashlight into the room, how big is the hole? Calling down after Hernando, he says, "Lemme know when you're ready ta come out or ya need help shopping. I'll keep it smooth up here."

The door to the maintenance room is hanging on one hinge and basically useless (if you'd thought to prop it open it probably would have been basically intact). There's definitely a hole, not huge (apx. 1m across) but "big enough".

Tock ...

"Sure!"
Hernando runs to the boxes and start looking for anything value. Does he see anything that he can also uses to keep the door shut?

Talon waits at the edge of the hole to help Shed down if necessary, and while he waits he pulls his Smart Militech and hooks it up to his wrist mounted interface cables.

(( Nothing but the crates of weapons, and they're to heavy for Hernando to move by himself. As to their contents, they seem to be in three general piles, the first one [in pile #1} Hernando opens is filled with a vast assortment of "street trash" handguns, just tossed into it loosely. Pile #2 and #3 ... He'll have to check. ))

Tick ...

shed lets things settle for just a few seconds before huffing back to see his handywork with his flashlight out, he'll leave a rope with talon so he can tie it to save time then go into the armory ((can he go down there by himself without sustaining injury? other wise he'd ask for a hand from talon)).
when he joins hernando he'll head to a different crate/pile in the armory - he'll check crate#2, ((how far are the creates from each other? - if they need to pile them together. being an ex-army will shed have an easier/faster/whatever time to browse the weaponry? and deciding on a plan since i assume he'll want the quickest most efficient way to deal with this so they can boom and hightail it asap))

Seeing Shed down into the hole, Talon takes the rope hes handed and secures it alongside Hernandos. After doing so he'll head back to he entrance and peak out into the hallway to see what kind of attention thegroup has garnered with the explosion.

(( No real problem going down, just hang off the edge and drop less then a meter to the floor. The fact that there are three separate piles is a bit of a problem, can't destroy it all in one go. This is an excellent time to dig out the thermite, weapons with melted barrels/receivers don't work very well. ))

Shed opens the top crate in pile #2 and is greeted by the sight of boxes of ammunition. Looking at the crates there are several popular calibers, but no sign of any unusual ammo types.

Hernando moves to pile #3 and prys the lid off the top crate and sees boxes labeled "Militech Silver Shadow" (( Having limited experience with firearms Hernando isn't overly familiar with that model, no clue if it's good/bad, expensive/cheap, etc. )). Given the size of the crate there must be around a 20 or so of them.

Tock ...

((crate#1 is full of crappy handguns - the thermite can take care of all/most of them?
crate#2 is full of ammo which means it can be used to enhance whatever explosives we have left right, so it can be moved
to crate#3 to ensure it's destruction?
is shed familiar with 'Militech Silver Shadow' and knows "specs" like weight/length/ROF etc or can atleast estimate the basics like weight/length/etc if they want to shop for a couple and see how many of them can fit in the explosives bags?))

shed also conveys only the relevant info im asking ooc to hernando so he knows whats shed is going to do.

(( Pile #1 crate #1 is "street trash", the rest ... who knows without looking ... and you will probably not have the time to check every crate in each pile. The ammo really won't "enhance anything (it's small arms ammo not artillery shells), if blown/burned it will mostly scatter far and wide. Shed also lacks say Talon's background, ummm ... why not just ask Talon? Or Gremlin, he's on the comms and can look it up on the Net. The bag the explosives were in is about the size of your typical grocery bag, not going to hold much. ))

Tick ...

shed puts a det+thermite in crate#1, a det+thermite in crate#2, then uses all the explosives left +1det on crate 3, he'll fit how many he can(if he can at all?) into the bag and put the explosives in the middle (as much as possible, or in any variation that will cause as much dmg as possible) in the crate and set an appropriate timer ((i'll use the timer as backup in case a remote signal wont go for whatever reason and inform hernando & talon about the timer ))
while he is finalizing setting the explosives on crate#3 he'll give hernando the bag and tell him to head up, then go up himself and tell them its time to GTFO.
