PBEM Campaign - Suhiira - The Game Itself

Talon gets on his com and sends a quick message over the line both for the benefit of his two crew and for Gremlin outside, "Talon here. Times up. Its time to fly."

While waiting for his crew to finish climbing, Talon considers tossing the ganger into the room to get his body out of the hall before remembering the room is about to be experiencing a second explosion. Instead he grabs the gangers Militech Crusher checks the ammo and holsters it inside his jacket, using the holster normally reserved for his Militech 45.

Won't fit. (( Totally different shape from the .45. ))
It's fully loaded tho.

shed catches up to talon(he removed the rope/s before), seeing the militech crusher, he sighs says several expletives in russian then to talon & hernando "they have good stuff for guarding" seeing that talon tried to holster the crusher unsuccessfully, he grabs it from him fashions a sling ((roll needed to create sling?)) for it from the rope then hands it back and heading for the exit.

(( It's a handgun, it's just a different shape then what will fit in the holster that held the .45, he can stick it inside the jacket, or in his belt. ))

Handing off the Crusher, Talon regards the crew. "You two ready to go? Charges all set?" and, motioning down the hall leading towards the stairs Rodik used to reach this floor, "Follow this way. Stay close and keep an ear out for any birds following us."

Hernando starts returning to join Talon.

(( No longer a need for the tick-tock as the team is moving ... now to get out of the hornets nest you kicked ... FUN ! ))

As the team moves toward the utility stairs they hear shouts echo throughout the building ... seems EVERYONE is awake, if not aware.

"Really? Follow in that direction?
Hernando starts returning to join Talon.

"Yeah. Figure its better than show'in up right next to that armories front door. The utility stairs should still be open from this side."

Talon heads down the hall at a jog, conscious of his speed so his doesn't leave his team behind. While traveling he focusing his senses on the halls and doors ahead of him in order to find any approaching threats. Hoping the implants working well today, Talon starts activating his Speedware. The faster reaction will hopefully give him an edge over anyone who gets the jump on them.

shed follows closely behind and to the side (but not too closely to leave talon so manuvering room) with his dai lung drawn (pointed at the ceiling) and as alert as possible for 'surprises'.

From somewhere ahead you hear "You four check that way, rest a ya follow me."

"Damn", Are there any halls that turn off from the current path nearby?

Not to far ahead you have an intersection, left, right, or straight ... you can always reverse course too.

Talon puts a hand out to stop the team, Talking quietly but quickly, "Big group ahead. Back up, we need another way."

OOC: Are there any branched paths back the way we came such that the team can turn down and take another hall to the utility stairs?

(( Back the way you came is the public escalator/elevator lobby for this floor, from there you can go one of three directions (four if you count down to the mall area). The service stairs/elevator is on the far side of the building from the public lobby. You could enter the quasi-maze of hallways and eventually work your way there but it will take time. ))

In Talons mind the prospect of a maze of halls is better than taking a path that ensures a fight, which is how he views taking the stairs down to the mall or proceeding along their initial route.

Talon begins to head back to the lobby of this floor, intending to brave the mess of hallways leading to the utility stairs.

"Need to take a bit of a detour. Stay close."
