PC 1.04/1.05: Floating NPCs, NPCs Clipping Through Ground, Frozen AI
Since PC 1.04, I've been encountering:
These issues may impact other NPCs beyond what I've found in White Orchard.
Since PC 1.04, I've been encountering:
- NPCs that move and engage in combat a few feet from the ground, usually above Geralt, which makes them almost impossible to hit and kill (they don't change altitude; it's like, for them, the ground plane has been shifted upward);
- NPCs that have spawned below the ground plane or clipped through the world boundaries, which makes them impossible to see or kill (they just exist on the minimap and I can hear them);
- Drowner NPCs that just stand in place while I attack them; and
- Drowner NPCs that repeat their surfacing from water animation over and over until I kill them.
These issues may impact other NPCs beyond what I've found in White Orchard.
