[PC Bug] Can't enter Cassius Ryder's ripperdoc

Hi I'm having an issue with that quest. Wondering if I was alone or if there are known fixes for this ?

The same thing is happening to me, I don't have a fix unfortunately. I also do not have a ripperdoc icon anywhere near that location, on the map or in first person.

Reloading on earlier save game didn‘t change anything?

Is it the same during nighttime?

I'm having the same issue- skipping to night time didn't fix it. There's a NCPD event just outsite (with the blue star), and I reloaded to an earlier save and stealthed around that encounter instead of clearing it out and the door still won't open. In both cases, I'm just unable to interact with the door.

same here, it was bugged in cause of enemys shooing from top platform dor opens and closes befor i was in.... since this it will no open and i cant interact with

This issue appears to stem from the "Burning Desire" mission, where you take Jesse (Flaming crotch man) to Doc Ryder's joint. I would assume upon completion of this mission, you would be able to access Ryder's gift, but it seems an endless amount of waiting for Jesse to call back.

I confirmed you could enter before the burning desire mission and that you cannot enter once you hit the half-point. I was never able to complete the mission at the moment, even though I have since beaten the game.

from further testing, if you complete "the gig" mission first, and then do "burning desire" Doc Ryders is unlocked, and the "burning desire" mission is no longer soft lock.

I've 'skipped' almost two weeks worth of time, and dude still hasn't called.

I can't complete the flaming crotch guy mission or The Gig at this point.

Yeah sounds like your soft locked like I was on my original save; my presumption is if you pass to far in the storyline, it breaks the trigger for flaming crotch dude to call you, though I didn't feel like testing it specifically, so I can't say so for sure but seems to be the likeliest cause.

I had another problem.Got in ok, talked, bought 0 dollar items and full price and quest didn't finalize.

I'm screwed if flaming crotch man triggers it because he exploded right outside. We were righ there, he said he couldn't wait, hopped out, took one step and BAM! No more flaming crotch guy. It wasn't until a day or so after he exploded that I had the quest to wait for his call (which is weird in itself). I found this guy on an exclamation point or some such when I was going around doing side quests, not from a phone call. He shouldn't show up as a quest if it's going to bug a later one if you do his first. Oh, well.

I have finished both 'The Gig' and also 'Burning Desire' - I got the call back and claimed reward and all that. Still cannot interact with the door however.

Yeah I have this bug too, the burning desire guy never called back for me, I've been skipping 24 hours at a time with that side mission selected but the guy hasn't called and I haven't been able to enter the shop. Hope they fix this up soon.

I have found that skipping time doesn't always work. It triggers calls and texts but not always or the time isn't calculated correctly, might need to skip 7 in-game days to trigger something of 24 hours for example, or need to do another mission.

Yeah, same problem here. And waiting days triggered other calls but nothing from Burning Crotch... dunno if he exploded before he got there, though.... I thought maybe he made it?

I never got the call back from the guy even AFTER the heist.

And I got to Wakako Okada because of a convenient story quest.

And the door is still locked.

Hi, sorry for the long response time. I managed to enter the ripperdoc store after doing a little bike ride far away from the area and come back.
