PC Hotfix

It is completely broken because it does not do what it is supposed to do. I toggle off every icon on the map, so I expect to not see any icons. It does not work, it is broken. It is lame.

Yeah.... A more accurate statement would be that it doesn't work the way you want it to.

As far as I'm concerned it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Filter things when I'm looking for specific things. There could be a million icons on that map when I'm not filtering, the minute I press on NCPD scanner it better show me only NCPD scanners and it does. Works fine. Judging by the complete lack of complaints since it's integration, sounds like it's very much a you problem.

That means they're getting on issues fast. Dunno why people get mad about CDPR making things right.

Exactly. At this point CDPR's managers could paradrop into their living room, hand them a million dollars and then teleport outta their house leaving a brand spanking new, top of the line PC in their place and their reaction would be "is that it...?"

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I wish CDPR communicated more and I disagree with their silence but damn do I understand it.

Release a seriously hefty patch with only good stuff and you still get shit because you supported it too much!?

A hotfix for Cyberpunk 2077 is out on PC. It addresses audio software-related crashes on game launch.
When are you going to fix the sudden fps drops issue

Haven't played in a good while, and was pleased to see the main feature I'd been wanting actually did get added, changing appearance, but... alas.. it's broken for Radeon cards it seems, my character model is entirely blacked out aside from the eyes. I did read rolling back the driver would fix this but that's a no-go, Forza won't work if I do that. :(
This is a confirmed driver issue. If you don't want to downgrade your drivers, you'll have to wait for new ones to come out and fix it.

It was 14mb. I just installed it even though I never got the crash either.

14mb is 14mb.

Edit: And I feel you on the 60gb one... Annoying.
thanks, I was worried GOG just uploaded the whole stuff again :)
anyway, if it means no mods compatibility again, I'll wait a few days !

The game completely crashes since 1.5 and the latest Hotfixes did nothing for me to change that.
And no, I didn't even had any of the aforementioned audio-services running on my system.

The only thing that works is the main menu, that's it.

Send a crash report every time too, so fingers crossed for Hotfix #3

Have you tried deleting your usersettings.json file already?

Is anyone else using Bluetooth headphones? I have tried everything to try trouble-shoot and force it to work, but for the life of me I just can't get Cyberpunk to pick up my buds. Wired headphones and speakers work just fine, but wireless just seems to be a no go.

By accident forgot AutoUpdate ON in EPIC and now I need to revert to the "old" 1.5

Please advice!

I am playing it on Win 10 with bluetooth Anker. Working like a charm on my laptop.

Little rude to complain about your mods being broken after the devs apply a fix to the game, don't you think?
The modders will adjust them in no time, go play something else for a day or two (i hear everyone is fawning over this Elden Ring thing).

Actually NOT. This minor hotfix doesn't affects most of us regarding these audio drivers. And I have planned short vacation to finally play "the fixed" game. And for a few days everything was perfect having added a few mods along the way.

Now because of the few with some weird Audio drivers I have to wait and maybe won't play the game for the next many months to come, because not all mods will be fixed in time. Additionally I don't know which one is causing the problem! There were a few scripts and who knows what crashes the game even before start.

I have 2 options:

a) some kind of official revert
b) finding a pirate version 1.5 or 1.5.1 (which is unacceptable for me)!

And BTW - I love the game. It's awesome <3. Love every little detail. I am having the mods only to be able to enrich even further the experience. Like GTA like locations transitions or flying over this magnificent city. It's beautiful. And all the story futuristic details keeps me wondering how close are they to happen. ;-)

Yep. Also deleted all CDPR files related to CP2077 in my user-folder and completly deinstalled it from my system.
No dice so far.
Same here - and still no joy - sent a report with my DxDiag and will have to see what happens...

I wonder if this game is any good - I havent been able to play it yet.

My Rig
Ryzen 5950X
NVIDIA RTX 3080 Master 10GB
64GB RAM
SAMSUNG 980 Pro 1Tb NVME

Well, my game doesn't crash, so if this hotfix doesn't do anything else, I'll pass.. 'cause the last hotfix was 60-70Gb on GOG. ^^'
Blink and you'll miss this one. A few MB. For the hard crashes linked to certain audio drivers preventing launching the game I think.

i dont know why but my game disappeared from the installed and i had to reinstall all -_- and i played just last night so i don't know what happened, hope i still have my saves
Same thing for me, tried re-install to new folder re-install GoG but to no awail. It just wont let me install the game anymore :(

I watched Yamashi live streaming CET update at the release of patch 1.5. As far as I could tell, he was trawling through the raw .exe bytecode, fishing out the memory addresses for every function only for him to find that some had been removed and some placed inside other functions so all the addresses were different. I left after 3 hours with my head spinning. He kept going for god knows how long after that. 14 hours later, they hotfix 1.5 and guess what? Different addresses all over again.

To say Yamashi wasn't happy about that is the understatement of the century. Now they've done it again. This is not cool. Don't do this to our community tool devs.

See my post a little earlier.

Epic does not offer that functionality. In all honesty, it is a very bare bone storefront that everyone should avoid until Epic gets it's shit together.

I wouldn't qualify it as rude but it definitely comes across as entitled.

Your own argument is very much proof of that and can be turned around quite easily. You say because of the few, you won't get to play. What about them? Should a patch be delayed or outright not happen because of the few who mod their games? Make no mistake, we are a minority. Should they be unable to play because you planned a vacation for this? Should they be unable to play because you had auto update turned on?

As I said before, and as @SigilFey expanded upon, this is the very nature of modding. I have been modding games since Morrowind, so 19-20 years now, and this has happened with most mods whenever an update was released for any game I modded.

We decide to modify official game files with non-official ones, there is zero sense in getting angry at CDPR for updating their game and breaking mods. Their job isn't to support mods, it's to support the official release of the game. Heck, we're lucky we can mod the game properly in the first place, not every company gives a damn about mods. Let's not encourage them to leave modding capabilities out altogether by giving them shit when they do exactly what they should be doing.

Yeah, that is the thing about using mods to change the hardcode. You should not use a lot of them until after the DEV has finished changing the hardcode themselves unless you can stand a lot of breaking and possible corrupt saves.

And I am (or was) a prolific mod author myself. But even now I only have (I think ) two mods in my game from other mod makers and three I made myself. I see lots of mods I would love to have in my game now but I do not want to screw up my save game. So I will wait until the official mod tools are out before ravaging the code with mods.

The game crashing problem after I switching map's categories and checkpointing locations still persists. CDPR pls fix.

Edit: scratch that. Simply switching map's categories then closing the map crashes the game.

There still a lot of graphical issues at the moment. the shadow is darker then it needs to be with the cars the FOV is a not closed to the dashboard, Find for game like Assetto Corsa Competzione but dont think for CP2077.

Other issues like, Game Freezes on high setting happens and does lead to changes on the OS Drive. That memory set to 4096 Custom to help the load On OS (C drive) Memory System. Driver Updates (Nvidia and AMD) doesn't always fix the issues. (Only with certain Hardware)
