(PC) Logitech MX Ergo only works as a basic mouse

I am using a Logitech MX Ergo Wireless trackball as my mouse/input device.
The scroll wheel, scroll wheel button press, & additional side buttons are not working or being recognized in the game.

Outside of the game, everything works fine with the device.

the fix, for now, is to open your Logitech Options software and go to Point & Scroll tab and disable Smooth Scrolling. Works fine when that is turned off.
