I have 3 characters, male, female, and a futa, the female genitals still show up in game(inventory screen shows male) even with the equip bottoms and and off real fast repeatedly, work around.
Yeah, that was weird that female, customization isn't there. Unless they assume that females get breast size, males get penis size and type. The vagina, kind left in the dust as it isn't quite as obvious as the male appendage

The workaround doesn't work. I don't support censorship (or being lied to) in a game that features nudity. I'm just gonna vote with my wallet and refund it. If this truly bothers you, do the same. Revisit it later when it's on sale for $20 and see if they fixed it. I'm not a perv, not looking to get my jollies on some digital T&A. I just don't support censorship in an M rated game. I'm an adult and you basically treat me like a 10yo when you make the decision for me on what I can and can not see. Thanks but no thanks.
I have never supported censorship and was so happy to hear cd project was just having passive nudity in this game its a progressive move and i support it 100% please fix this bug... i didnt buy this game to see my characters naked but because i "CAN" if i chose to, its weirdly immersion breaking to see myself naked in menus while changing clothes and then be in underwear while showering. :/

US censorship just affects all game versions. All consoles and cloud gaming services doesn't allows AO rated games and if a game get that rating would be toned down at least for consoles and streaming services. On PC they still could release an uncensored version but that's not the case with Cyberpunk 2077. I asked devs on their official Discord if PC would have been uncut in case of an AO rating or released with an uncensored patch but they said me the game would have been released in just one version for all platforms and would have been regionally censored only if another rating board like OFLC and CERO would have toned down the game even if compared to the standard M rated version but then the game should have been within the M category in every case.

They self censored the game to avoid an AO rating. That's the same why you can't kill kids in game and rapes are never actually shown. I also was permabanned from CDPproject Red official Discord and Steam forums because i asked for an AO version of the game on PC where it should be possibile.yep many things works does not right, not as good as it desire,

Well this is one ethics debate I certainly don't want to involve myself with. Besides, I don't really consider a character in a video game being naked near a child in a video game to be remotely sexual, but each to their own. In any case this is arguing about a situation that doesn't exist, my point was that I don't believe that nudity was removed from the game for sensitivity reason given the subject matter in this game. This is most certainly another bug.

Full nudity in first person, photomode etc, was there before patch 1.03.
So they released the game without censorship.
There is censorship for specific regions, that only applies to Japan and Australia as far as i know.
The rest of the world is more mature about this, generally speaking.
Nobody cares what they want in the US of A, thats a seperate region and nowhere can i find that US version is the same as all other versions or that all versions is based on the US version, you're making that up or else i'd like to see a source for that, thanks in advance!

Early posts in this thread stated that When in photomode kids disappear and aren't seen. I believe this is a bug, but I won't be surprised if CDPR makes a statement saying the intentionally added censorship. It's possible they added censorship for "Japan and Australia," but messed up the coding and it's affecting everyone. If someone is playing right now with 1.04 patch and can walk around naked in first person view, please screen shot/share/tell us which country you live in. I'm in the USA and I haven't tried to see where my "Steam Account" states i'm located in/from. I'll check that in a bit and see if that makes a difference, but from what I know, everyone that is outside of "Japan and Australia" are experiencing this bug/glitch.

Someone there states that on a ticket support claimed it was working as intended, yet someone else from CDPR supposedly said they are working on a fix, so i dont know who or what to believe regarding this.
