(PC) No nude on First Person View, Mirrors, Photo Mode. [Not a Bug]

There is also a thread on this on the steam forum (kinda gets buried under the flood of comments) in the general section, also 18 pages long funny enough.

Someone there states that on a ticket support claimed it was working as intended, yet someone else from CDPR supposedly said they are working on a fix, so i dont know who or what to believe regarding this.

I have a very hard timing believing that this thread goes by unnoticed.

Early on someone posted that they had a reply from CDPR support that it was intended. However, early on lots of people were not explaining very well, making the wrong assumptions about what the problem was and jumping to conclusions. The wrong conclusions being that it was because they had chosen no genitals in character creation, had switched the nudity censor on or lived in Japan/Australia.

Much later, once it was well established what the problem was and this topic as well as the steam one were 10-20 pages long, came the other report where a CDPR tech support rep said they were aware of it, it was a bug and they were actively looking in to it. I'm inclined to believe the 2nd one more, not just because it was clear by that point what the problem was, but because its much easier for a tech support person to say "no I don't need to look in to this one" than "yes, its a problem and I will be looking in to it".

As it's just the lower body that is censored and that's the bit they get shitty about in Japan, it could be a bug with the regional censor mode incorrectly applying.

Also the feature list of the next patch 1.05 lists "texture fixes".

Unfortunately, I have the fear that it should be exactly like that, no genitals in the game world.
During the mission with Sandra Dorsett, when you stand in front of the tub and start the photo mode, you can choose between FPP and TPP, but the bodies are so in the water that you can't see anything.
If you pull Sandra out of the water you only have the FPP in photo mode, on the way to the balcony only FPP works but now you can no longer change the camera angle.
After handing Sandra over to TT, the TTP works again in photo mode, but when you zoom out there is an invisible wall over Sandra's genitals and you cannot point the camera there.
sex scenes are only videos where the photo mode does not work.
therefore I fear that it is not a bug that the genitals are covered in photo mode, but that it would be made by CDPR in order not to risk an AO rating.
very disappointing from my point of view.

Hopefully I'm wrong and it's really just a bug, but I have my doubts.

Looks like they basically just pushed the game out advertising it as a "mature game", and then taking all that back after the launch. So damn disappointing. Good job at CDPR lying to everyone.
And anyway i don't get it.. why Conan Exiles has the option for nudituìy (and you can see A LOT of it) and cyberpunk needs to be censored?
This story its all so stupid and non sense.

Sorry to say i have browsed every page and it wasnt CDPR it was GOG they contacted, i havnt seen somone post stating they got a response for this issue via a ticket.

This issue ive noticed isnt just V it effects but ive noticed changes within the game aswel, Not once do i see another nude or semi nude character in the game unless its bill boards or computer images. They always use nipple covers or clothes that perfectly wrap around the sensitive areas. Dildos seem to no longer be trash items? if they are still the ration is now so rare might aswel stick a legendary label on them. First played scene of the rescue, the guy in bath tub was fully nude, now after 1st day he has nicely put on his boxers for us despite been a dead weight.

I do think this all happened as the 1day release had "texture fixes" which possibly messed up a file load order somewhere. I hope this issue gets fixed. Kinda pointless at this point having a censor option and change gential options. And this indeed was a selling point as it was heavily advertised and many articles regarding genitals been customizable. Just think the reviews before release had the nude available version, did there reviews and we didnt see complaints regarding it, 1st day pach comes in and now we are censored, it is basicaly false advertising as it wasnt what was reviewed nor advertised.

Sorry for wall of text just a frustrating issue. These temp fixes players have found for ken barbie look isnt a true fix, its just a glitch to get over this hurdle.

Not sure what you are talking about.

Full nudity in first person, photomode etc, was there before patch 1.03.
So they released the game without censorship.

There is censorship for specific regions, that only applies to Japan and Australia as far as i know.
The rest of the world is more mature about this, generally speaking.
Nobody cares what they want in the US of A, thats a seperate region and nowhere can i find that US version is the same as all other versions or that all versions is based on the US version, you're making that up or else i'd like to see a source for that, thanks in advance!

Game was released "uncensored" but when the main character was fully undressed genitals weren't shown, everyone thinks that this only was a glitch but i think the first version of the game just haven't the underpants added how it was intended to be, then they patched them into the game. The glitch is when full nudity is shown, the proof is that underpants actually doesn't cover anything because devs have made characters like dolls.

need to save ultra high texture of mine character... Need to give us option for change quality of OUR character ONLY (maybe i don't care about NPC and want to see only my character with ultra quality of body). And option for disable hair animation.
Game is game and need to be free in settings.

Your reasoning about the model is all wrong, the penis model is separate from the rest of the body so they can hide it when you wear clothing, else you get the funny dick clipping that has already turned into a meme.

Plus, CDPR needs to fix genitals quality on low preset. I need to save the ultra high texture of my character... Nvm... restarted the game to get a picture of the problem but this solved the problem. Its just like before.

I never seen them even before last patch. I hope they aren't censoring the game.

this would end up been a localized censorship though, rest of us shouldnt have the same censorship. They would needed to of announced it just at launch as players who got it early had it in its early form with nudeness. Pegi 18 is the tag it has on steam and for uk game stores the game says pegi 18. This rating allows for extreme sexual scenes as it was given the sex tag. Funny thing is the sex tag is there for when theres sexual content in which nudity is a thing, or even actual intercourse. It would of got a pegi 16 rating if it got erotic nudity or sexual intercourse without genitalia (so atm the game we have almost sounds like a pegi 16 censorship yet we have the pegi 18 tag for the game.

So i just think this is a bug, the actual censor option in setting applies but doesnt remove clothing, maybe due to a texture fix they did on day 1. All we can do i guess is wait and hope CDPR actualy notices this after they fixed the game for those that have crashes and game breaking bugs.

try changing your FOV ? might help

FOV isn't helping, because POV has a bad position from default place... Check other games like Skyrim with POV mod (you can see boobs as in real life). Anyway if modders can create mods like in Skyrim - this game can be a masterpiece, but if CDPR doesn't give modders a good engine... so...

only suggested it as someone a few pages back had similar issue and it fixed it for them.

Yes, this is real bug and CDPR knows about it if people not lying about Support answers.

Unfortunately not, games like Manhunt 2, Hatred and Agony were censored worldwide after the AO rating and also R rated versions of NC-17 movies are selled worldwide. The only way to release an AO or Not Rated game is to release it on PC but CDProject doesn't want to release it as an AO game even with an external patch. Notice that vaginas are shown in very low detail and near no visible even in the customization menu as female genitals usually deserve an AO from the ESRB, male genitals instead are more detailed because penis is considered erotic only when erected.
