Okay, having ended up right next to JoyToy after a Takemura mission, I hired her. First time, she went down on me and my character didn't have her panties. Second time, I got a different set of animations that did not show the bottom area. Third time, no panties. Forth time, panties appeared. To see if this was random, I hired her several more times, waiting for the animation RNG to give me more shots looking "down there." When I finally got the "going down" shot again, the panties were still there and they were there in subsequent times until I reloaded the auto-save.

Curiously, it is also the only time I can see my character's breasts in first person. I hope we will be able to see our breasts in first person in the gameplay after an update.

Either way, still not going to romance anyone until this bug is fixed.

As mentioned before that has nothing to do with the current censorship. The game already has a censor system, they don't need worldwide censorship!

The damn game has an PEGI 18 rating on Steam where I live! [VIOLENCE, SEX, BAD LANGUAGE] That's about equal to the AO ESRB rating.

They made the damn game for 18+, it has the PEGI 18 rating on their own site...
Sure I understand how this initial hotfix could have been to prevent streamers from seeing random dicks and boobs flying around... However, that's also what the damn "Nudity Censor" option is for!

As mentioned before. The "Nudity Censor" option not only applies underwear it also changes the texture underneath to black. If or when it works. That should be more than enough to keep streamers happy.

I still see absolutely no reason for them to censor the damn game worldwide.

PEGI 18 has nothing to do with the AO rating. Every PEGI 18 game is only rated M by the ESRB. 18+ rating by a rating board that isn't ESRB is still allowed everywhere but if a game get the AO rating will always be cut at least for consoles, devs can release an uncut game on PC but this isn't the case. Probably because Geforce Now supports censorship and use the very same Steam and now also GOG versions. Very bad shit.

I would love to believe it's a bug but no one official has even told us if this is intentional or not. This thread has 71,082 views and over 400 comments but is completely ignored? All I am asking for is a "hey guys this is a bug we're working on it" or a "hey guys we caved and censored the game because of ESRB regulations." Is that so hard?

If i had known before that was censored i wouldn't have bought the game.

That was the response given to me by GOG when I submitted my support ticket there. At that time, I could not find the correct place to submit my ticket on CDPR's own site (specifically the visual issue area, which is "hidden" in the interface area; I assumed "interface" meant the menus, not the graphics) so I chose the only way of contact that I knew at the time. But about 8 pages ago eventually I found the correct link and submitted my ticket and recommended others do the same.

Gog are not the developers, and have been caught in this thread outright not paying attention to what was said in a bug report. They are related to CDPR, "i think" but are not the same. Also, that technically isn't wrong, if you have censoring enabled via settings then it isn't a bug, but most of us don't, which makes it a bug as the moderator sigilfey just informed us.

Just my five cents. I'll be very sad if the devs succumb to the pressure of the chastity belt wearing bullies and the horrible cheap online articles that pretend to listen to their outrage.

This game is supposed to be something new, something that would break the chains of puritanism in AAA gaming and downright pretense. I personally was hoping for the Woodstock of gaming in an era that a Woodstock is needed more than ever in many sections of our lives.

And somehow I can feel that that's what the studio wanted. I still hope that it's only technical problems that can be corrected and not a change of heart and/or ideology.

Please do the right thing, guys. No, it's not just a sausage or a muffin, it's way more than that. It IS important. If anyone can do it, it's you!

I spend too long reloading the game just to find this character out in the wild so that everyone can see that the game is not being censored on purpose. Now I am going to spend some more time reloading in clothing stores to see if there are some more revealing outfits.

I encountered this character before I found out about this bug and thought "Cool! So the game really does have actual nudity." and moved on. Went back after I tried to take a naked shower and saw the underwear. For those interested this character can be encountered in the No-Tell Motel.

So looks like characters were never intended to be shown without pants.

One of the tester of the game month ago made an all COOL naked build, an said NPCs reacted to that, so it was a feature at least at that time.
I've tried the same but NPC doesn't react at all, no fun...

Yeah exactly breaks immersion, i hope they fix it soon i do not wanna progress far into the story for romance scenes until they fix it

Few things are more immersion breaking than showering with clothes on. I really hope this gets fixed.
