That's weird. But, it kinda happens to me as well. When in shower I can only see my hands if I don't change FOV.
Then out all normal.
I think there are some bugs with the body visualitazion and clothing then
But that's how it's supposed to be, I mean that's how V takes a shower... He/she leans forward, presses palms against the wall and let the water splash his head while his lower body is pressed back so that's why you can't see your lower body
Texture quality, of course. I was afraid that there were different builds (which seemed really unlikely) with two different variations to the bug, good to know that's not the case.
1.05 patch coming soon hope they fix it

In the patch notes texture fixes are mentioned. This bug seems to be a mesh issue more than the textures but I hope it gets fixed in this update.
The site seems not really trustworthy, also those "upcoming patch notes" seems to be just the patch notes from the 1.04 hotfix

I think people are right that say it’s just a “nudity off” bug. Meaning the underwear that show are the same underwear that show if “during the character creation screen” you turn off the genitals. They are just force applied in certain areas of the game. For testing i am going back on another PC with no internet to the base install to see for sure when
I am forced to wear boxers regardless of location in the game even though my nudity censor is set to off. This extends to first person, camera mode, etc, though, in my inventory menu I can see my character fully nude, which is at once hilarious and frustrating. The boxers are ugly as hell too, so in a world where "Looks are everything" I would love for someone to find the offending mesh and texture for those damn underwear and show me how to delete them.
Some ladies have their panties stolen, my V has her panties returned and put back on without her knowledge.

This involved a hex editor and messing with the gamedata archive files (see link for file name and locations). Not sure what all this effects (did not get any crashes for a bit of time I was messing around with it). I am wondering if this only effects our player Character or if if effects NPCs too. Could be interesting to see what all we can effect by changing the various archive files that are located in the game folders.

Honestly, with all the bugs and underdeveloped features...I think this for now might be low on the team's priority list
I wouldn't count on that. It's stirred up quite the buzz. Hopefully 1.05 fixes it.
I attempted the test with a hex editor and was able to reproduce what Oldgoer posted above.
Had the issue first. Then adjusted the file and now they are gone in mirror and in photomode. Im using an old test PC of mine though so hard to tell as it for sure removes the underwear but the area is low detail and kinda blurry. It could be my old pc. Didn’t wana try the test on my main box.
