(PC) No nude on First Person View, Mirrors, Photo Mode. [Not a Bug]

found a post on the steam forums discussing this that seems to have found a decent solution to correct this Bug on PC at least for mirror view and photo mode. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1091500/discussions/0/2988665684325739649/?ctp=26#c2988665684338273257

This involved a hex editor and messing with the gamedata archive files (see link for file name and locations). Not sure what all this effects (did not get any crashes for a bit of time I was messing around with it). I am wondering if this only effects our player Character or if if effects NPCs too. Could be interesting to see what all we can effect by changing the various archive files that are located in the game folders.

I tried what exactly said in this steam post, replacing all underwear with underwe_r. Now all underwear is gone, including first person view. But my V doesn't have a D, I can't confirm her P is there in first person, but she does in mirror and photo mode. I am quite happy with the result. At least I don't see the purple boxer in first person view and riding a bike, and in mirror, and in photo mode.

Hex editor? I'm using HxD to open basegame_4_gamedata.archive and I don't see anything that says underwear strings. What program are you using to do this? Are there extra steps to take?

I also used HxD and worked fine. Just use search all and it should find 5 entries.

This fixes it 100% for me. First person view and photo mode.

Now we just need a modder to make it look a little better down there......

download hex editor . try HxD. then open the file with HxD. then search for underwear. change all underwear to underwe_r. should be 5 i think.

but yes it fixes it but not completely hopwfully there is a perminant solution soon

About how to do the Hex Edit, You just replace it to underwe_r
And, there's 6 of them. Change only 5 of them. I tried to changed 6 of them and the game instantly crash when I open it.
Check screenshots for what I change and the proof that this really works on PHOTO MODE and MIRROR VIEW. Not on first person view. Yes it is indeed remove the annoying Purple Panty but the penis meshes is not there yet. Need more info about this.

I use HxD hex editor and it does make a backup when you save the change. So, there's no need to worry.

Is it possible that the Devs use different base player character models for the inventory screen, mirror and photo mode different to the one seen in the first person?

A pair of censord base models and then a pair of uncensord base models. The censord base models would have the code that links the underwear to those models for example acting as a replacement for the lack of genitals and they put in the wrong player models for the uncensord version.

This was just a shot in the dark, I dont know if that is the case, the problem with this theory is is that if that is the case, why doesn't the bra appear on the female character?

I really don't understand how this bug is works.
If Hex helps to change mirror and photo mode, why just can't fix from first person?
Really strange textures and modders can't fix it without CDPR work
Plus, need to fix POV position (we look down and can see only legs/penis, but not boobs like in real life or if speak about games - like in POV mod in Skyrim).
