Found a youtube video from december 9th with a fully naked V in the mirror, so here's proof the character was intended to be naked during exploration.
If this is the case, then I suspect it could be related to whatever they did in patch 1.03, which "Addressed texture related issues" according to the patch notes. Also according to UpdateCrazy, there are two new patches coming out, 1.05 for consoles and 1.04 for PC, and they will hopefully correct their mistake.100% our bug with nude in game textures. Sad almost 48h after release and no just a little hotfixes

Anyone able to find a video with the shower /Johnny scene pre 1.03 to see if you were supposed to be wearing underpants in that scene or if that's when the glitch started?
its still a wip im trying to find out where the "CensorRegion" is pulling from either its based where you, yourself is located or if its based off of "yourcharactermodel" if i could find out that i might be able to figure it out

well visual studio is free and so is blender so i dont see how is capitalism plus the game just released so mods will slowly make their way as modders find out how to mod the gameAnyway need a real fix with textures, modders now can stucks foreverIt is sincerely sad that the developers of this game did not make the engine so that modders could make poses, clothes, scenes, quests and so on from day one. Guess only way we'll know is if someone were to play to that point without patching the game (which has tons of issues as is if course).

Well I think I'm going to take a break from this game until this and a few other bugs are patched. If they decide to keep this bug as a feature, then I'll wait for modders to fix it.

As a former game tester, I have a suspicion that this thread is not getting attention because of the title. The leads always taught "devs only ever read half of the bug report's title, so make the first few words absolutely clear what this is about." I'm concerned that the title saying "NO NUDE ON FIRST PERSON VIEW" is being read as asking for no nudity in first person view, and is dismissed out of hand as a protest, as they are not reading to the point where it says "bug". Perhaps if it was "BUG. NUDITY IS CENSORED WHEN CENSORSHIP IS OFF IN FIRST PERSON VIEW, MIRRORS, PHOTO MODE. BUG"

definitely they will add more to it there is no doubt in my mind that the modders will be able to do that right now as we speak its a matter of that the modders will soon find out how to recompile the files to be able to mod them and get them to a stage that we can use the file cause as of this moment there is no way to do that id give it about a month or so. and for the patch i give it about hm until maybe the 18-19th at the latest if they are no already on break for Christmas or whatever they celebrate

lol Maybe? I was never a lead, highest I got was Certification and Quality Control (CQC) Customer Rep at a major game publisher, I dealt with the devs telling them why their game was rejected for release on certain platforms and tried to explain to them why aspects of their game needed to be changed before the company would pay for it to be resubmitted to the platform holders (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendon't, etc.). It was always above my paygrade to make assumptions as to whether any aspect of the game was a bug or a feature, just whether or not it needed to be changed to meet that platform's quality and standards protocol. This is primarily why I chucked it and became a bartender. Oddly enough, my new job has slightly less drinking on the job than working for game companies.
But in all seriousness, there IS a bug here, what CDPR's intentions are re what they want to do about it is anyone's guess. One way or another, either a community fix, dev patch or mod will fix this eventually.
yeah thats what i am thinking i was looking through some stuff but atm i dont think the modders have found a fix themselves as we the community is having difficulty trying to recompile the files given the situation atm being just released but they have gotten to the point that we can access some of the meshes and textures including audio files i dont know what else we have gotten into yet but so far thats how far we have gotten just with my current knowledge

Here is something I CAN tell you with 100% certainty. Don't believe the warning at the top of this forum that this is not a channel directly to CDPR. It's not a way to get the attention of the customer support or devs, but the community managers are ABSOLUTELY reading what we are saying right now, and one of them is probably talking with the QA leads trying to convince them that there is a bug gaining a lot of negative attention from the community and the lead is most likely trying real hard to ignore them and telling them "stop reading the forums... let me know if it's crashing consoles, though." And customer support is just trying to clear their tickets before beer-o'clock (traditionally 4pm on Fridays) and will not be reading anything thoroughly. And the QA temps will be spinning in their chairs talking about the weekend (and whether or not they will be submitting to the "optional" overtime again and how much) and one of them is taking a nap under their desk because the lead is busy arguing with the community manager. Meanwhile, we still have a broken game.

I would just like to know if this censorship is intentional or a bug in the game. I bought a game for people over 18, I am an adult, I am legally responsible for myself and I hope the company has not lied to its customers.
HAHAHA ok that helps alot haha well whether or not if this is a bug or if its not we still don't have a official statement from them saying "Well the lower half on V was censored because it would be rated in the us as AO and most relaters wont sell it (of course they wont blatantly say that)" but even so they should include a patch if that is so for the game separately for the pc players where as the console players would have to install it as a free dlc it would be labeled the 18+ patch even though it would already be a 18+ game overall haha
we don't know yet but so far its been more of a bug than a lie as when i first launched the game nudity was there for sure there is no doubt but i am still a little scared as i as in me still think it could possibly be that they had to patch it in order to keep it rated m for the united states considering the ESRB could have forced their hand to.
If it was intentional then why give the option to begin with? to only view it in the character creation and inventory? that doesn't make sense....
