It's called poor optimization,Titan is 4times as powerful as ps4,If you still can't get your game to run on it with ps4 visuals then it's completely your fault.

The most obvious choices are to either hide the highest settings in configuration files, or alternatively be very careful when choosing the wording for such options. For example, have a setting beyond “Ultra” called “Future.” It makes no functional difference, but it can make a large psychological one. Furthermore, the expected performance impact of each option should be noted clearly in its description.
The game looks better than the PS4. Atleast with the Day 1 Patch. Although I agree that the performance impact from the benefits of the Patch are pretty high. It's called poor optimization,Titan is 4times as powerful as ps4,If you still can't get your game to run on it with ps4 visuals then it's completely your fault.
absolutely fantastic, this is gonna plough my Titan X, excited
Game has 2k textures, actually not that many game support officially higher like 4k. Even if it had 4k textures you need nuts PC to run it, also you don't benefit that much without good 4k display. So now Ultra textures doesn't actually give better visual quality at all? It's just better performance? That sucks. I was expecting Ultra settings to offer better texture quality.![]()

I don't know any game with 4k texture atm. Appart from modded skyrim, but even there, you can't have 4k texture everywhere without making the game crash now and then. Besides, the difference between 2k and 4k texture when in game isn't that obvious, unless you like to zoom in every single flowers.Game has 2k textures, actually not that many game support officially higher like 4k. Yeah, exactly how Lara's hair performed in Tomb Raider. It was nonsense, but TressFX is a great thing.Lol yeah I want to recommend the shampoo he uses to my lady friends, I mean, he can roll about it dirt and muck with monster entrails spewn about and his hair STILL looks in faboulous condition...
Star Citizen will have 4k/8k textures, actually some of the ships have 4k textures even its in modular alpha.I don't know any game with 4k texture atm. would like "everything exceplt Geralt" as his default hair looks great aswellIve read in the geforce article the following:
Performance: Three HairWorks options are on offer in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: "Off", "Geralt Only", and "All". As the self-explanatory names suggest, they control whether HairWorks is switched off, applied only to Geralt, or applied to Geralt, his horse, and all other HairWorks-enhanced characters, creatures and monsters in the game.
That geralt only option is great for where we get a big fps drop when enabling it for all
Great work on that tbh nvidia and CDPR! Thumbs up!
