The Nvidia Dude confirmed it was the latest version they tested in the comments but yeah, framerate is probably in the low 20's.Sure, but it seems to be a "pre-patch" guide, so those numbers will be lower with the Day-1 patch.
Ah okay, I didn't look into the comments. The Nvidia Dude confirmed it was the latest version they tested in the comments but yeah, framerate is probably in the low 20's.
Well, since that is how FXAA works, it isn't just you.Is it just me, or is the proprietary anti-aliasing technique they mentioned just making the image more blurry?
Not really. Coming from 1080p, 4k costs about 50% of the performance in TW3.Keep in mind all the benchmarks are at 3840x2160. It will be orders of magnitude better on regular hd.
Terrain Quality is intended to increase the geometric detail of terrain surfaces through the application of tessellation, but in our supposedly-final build the setting has zero impact in every one of the thirty-something locations tested.
Is pretty much correct. He posted his settings on NeoGAF and confirmed it ran at 20~ fps when moving. He also said he could maybe bring it on 30, if he would invest even more time. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=164336640#post164336640The Nvidia Dude confirmed it was the latest version they tested in the comments but yeah, framerate is probably in the low 20's.
Hard to say. Could be intentional and added later, completely cut or as You said just a bug.
Bug? From Nvidia guide
I like the Hairwork, but have to see what it will do with my frames first.looking at the rig used here http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-graphics-performance-and-tweaking-guide hairworks is SOOO not worth it.
There are multiple ini files. I have the GOG version.where is the ini fle to tweak?
Nice. 30fps in that Quality doesn't sound too bad actually but not for that price. lolIs pretty much correct. He posted his settings on NeoGAF and confirmed it ran at 20~ fps when moving. This is normal and expected especially for an open world game tbh.. If you pick, say one, GTA 5, I'm sure you can find plenty of analogue examplesI'm wondering if there is an ini tweak that can make the wood texture in this snap look less garbage-day (picture taken from dansgaming stream, ultra footage). It would make me a lot happier if some of the ropey aspects of the graphics can be pulled up to the standard of the rest. I've always maintained that even in its 'downgraded' state, the game just looks inconsistent, great in some shots and unflattering in others.
No, it doesn't look as good as some of the PR videos, but it is still a very beautiful game.all this downgrade stuff turned out to be false, judgeing by the screens from the nvidia guide.
