[PC] Stuttering on GTX980

Hi everyone.

I'm here because i have a problem of stuttering on this game.

I have a good config ( GTX980, i7 4790K, 16GB DDR ) and i have around 60fps constant but when i playing, i have a lot of stuttering ( and the fps stay at 60 ).

I see that more when i'm on the horse.

I'm not the only one, on french forum ( i'm french ) i see peaple that have the same problem like me ( on GTX 970 and 980 ).

My setting was on extrem ( ubber ? ) with full screen mode, v-sync and fps lock at 60.

Does anyone have this problem here and/or a solution ?

There are a plenty of other topics about this stuttering-problem. It seems every version (PC,PS4, XBox One) suffers from it. We can only hope that the CD guys deliver a hotfix asap.

@Dak94 The game is quite stuttery atm tbh. You can't completely resolve it atm, but what I did to greatly improve it was;
(GTX 970)

In-game: change the fps limit to unlimited(far left setting), turn off the in-game vsync.
nvidia control panel: change vsync to 'force on', and change power management to prefer max performance. And single display mode. Also ensure you've got 'threaded optimization' set to 'auto', not 'on'. Setting that to on introduced far more stuttering on my end.

Thank's i will try this tonight, an other solution i read was to desable the Hairwork.

That doesn't work for me

I did some tests in the same zone (first village) and making a round trip each time, I am already with Fraps between 45-48fps (no more, no less), all set in the extreme with any of 'set on a GTX980.


In case if I had a horse and stuttering pretty good, I find it strange that the small variation fps causes this but imagine that this is the case.


- I put myself locked 30FPS, the stuttering disappears a few seconds and then returns, although less now but still the (and I am against by a steady 30fps).


- I Nvidia disables AirWork thing, same, although some second and then it comes back.


I said that I cut everything that could guzzle resources outside of the game.


In short I feel that it is a can of random story ...
