Hi, many people have this problem on different recent gpus, we couldn't find a fix and we tested everything.
I seriously hope CDPR knows this issue and are working on it, because the game remains unplayable.

For my case :
- RTX 2060 + r5 2600x + 16gb
- Everything is up to date, other games are working perfect.
- DDU + reinstall drivers didnt helped, changing power management too, really I can not explain this issue.

My framerate is capped at 18/20, with any res, any options, even in the menues.
This is what I have :
aaaSans titre.jpg

Some people solved this with updating w10 with the upgrade software on microsoft page, for some it didn't even worked, I can not test it because I allready have the latest windows version so it doesnt want to update.
If someone knows a fix... or please if someone into cdpr read this let them know this problem.
I can not play the game and I lost hope, thanks.

Not a guarantee, but according to large amounts of people disabling "fullscreen optimizations" under the compatibility tab for the executable (cybperpunk.exe not the gog launcher) can make the game perform ~10-15fps better. It seemingly worked for me. Another thing that personally worked is to force power management to maximum performance and also force vsync instead of using the built in vsync.

In short:
Power management in the Nvidia control panel: Prefer maximum performance
Force vsync via drivers
Check "disable fullscreen optimizations" for the .exe

The game is still very unstable and I suspect it suffers from memory leaks.
GPU usage tend to fluctuate heavily as well, but the above helped me while waiting for the devs to iron things out.
If you use OSD overlays like Rivatuner I recommend exiting that and restarting the game to rule it out as a potential cause for degrading performance (it's known to do that in select titles which I can confirm from personal experience.)

I've attached a DxDiag for you over at CDPR as well to help out.

Not a single suggestion made to improve framerate are working, because its capped anyway.
Even in full low it doesnt change. Its not a framerate problem, I think its a problem of cpu or gpu usage, or the game doesnt use the gpu fully.
No other applications are opened.

Specs:
SSD
1060 3GB - OC'd
4690k - OC'd
8GB ram
This is ridicilous. I bought the game on release and I haven't been able to play ever since. I've tried everything: Reinstalling the nvidia drivers, reinstalling the game... I even bought the steam game too with no luck. I've tried every nvidia option and everything, and the best I've got is 10 fps with 50% of 720 resolution.

My friends have even worse GPUs and their games look well. What is wrong with my computer? Official tech support has been silent for more than 24h now and I'm getting really nervous.

Overclocking is usually not the best idea with games from CDPR. It can mess with the performance a lot.
Did you try setting your hardware to normal?

Also, keep in mind that support has a lot of requests to deal with so it can take a while until they are able to reply.

Cant really say the CPU is bad, it should still hold up.
Im a little worried about the RAM, 8GB just doesnt cut it for this game, especially with windows 10 now sharing GPU and normal RAM way more than before with the more recent windows 10 updates.

But the 1060, well i know its mentioned in the recommended.. it was a budget gpu to begin with and certainly for a long time a decent one.
But consider the base ps4 and xbox have serious frame rate issues aswell, and they are rougly on par with a gtx 1060 in terms of raw power, so that should tell you it just doesnt cut it for this game.

My advice? Get 8GB more ram and buy at the very least an rtx 2060 (super).

That's true, 8GB are problematic.

That's true, 8GB might not be ideal but my friends with worse setups, 8GB as well are doing great.

I've reset the overclock in the gpu and nothing so far, I'm gonna try to reset the CPU oc as well

Not sure if anyone has brought this up but all my problems were solved by turning my overclock on evga precision x1 back to default clock speeds. Something weird going on with cyberpunk and boosted GPUs

No overclocking now. Still the same. On gpu-z the GPU usage is 100-99%

Has anyone experienced the same as me?

1080p or 1440p ?
If by tutorial you mean the very beginning and you're not in Night City yet, you should drop considerable frames once you get there.
I'm on 1440p with 2080ti and can't even maintain 60fps on high settings:)

I just tested it and I still get 50-60 fps in Night City at 1440p, High Settings, RT disabled and DLSS disabled. (see screenshot)
When I set DLSS to quality I get 80 FPS.

My situation with 1060 6GB is that playing with all on low or all on medium only change 5 FPS. I understand that a 1060 is 4 years old, but it is also not possible that playing everything on low you have such low average or maximum FPS, you do not reach the maximum 50 FPS on low in a stable way and you also have drops below 30 FPS... Below is my configuration which I don't think is in the way to enjoy a good gaming experience:

-CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K @5,00 GHz Delidded (Golden Chip)
-GPU: ROG STRIX NVIDIA GTX 1060 6 GB with bios XOC by Asus ROG Team
-RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 32 GB 3200 MHz CL15
-MOBO: MSI z270 Gaming M7
-M.2 (OS):Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 250 GB
-HD (Game): Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache + Intel Optane M10 16 GB

P.S Windows and all drivers updated properly and newly formatted PC.

Im in the same situation.. 5900X , RTX 3080 , 32 GB Ram.. getting 26-35fps. doesnt matter if 1080p, 1440p or 4K, im stuck at 32-46% GPU Usage and 18-28% CPU Usage. Even changing everything from ultra to low and DLSS/RTX on/off has no impact on FPS.. already tried to reinstall drivers multiple times (with DDU deinstallation) and other tips.. nothing worked :(

Regarding the Day 1 Patch: If the Game versions shows 1.03 on PC you should already have it
Just an update: i "fixed" it.. 1440p, all settings max ~76fps now.

i installed Win10 completly new from USB. I dont know why it fixed it, because i already did that when i build that Pc 3 weeks ago including the 20h2 update.

The only thing that was different now: I did not install anything else then LAN Driver and Armoury Crate from my Mainboard (ASUS B550-F Rog Strix) and had my Internet off so i could install the new Nvidia Driver before Windows had any chance to download something else. AMD Chipset Drivers downloaded before from AMD Website.

Will test this further and see if it stays like this. Hope this will help someone

Hey guys,

I have other problems:
- im experiencing serious slow downs (low fps and juddered camera movement) when V are running (see the attached screenshot)
- insanely low fps in certain areas (for example: marketplace near the ripperdoc quest).
- fps drops when driving in certain areas (especially in tunnels)

8700k, RTX3080, 32GB RAM, SSD, updated drivers, 1440p, RTX and DLSS are ON.

Changing the gfx settings and turning off RTX does not solve the problem.

Any news about any upcoming performance patch??

Specs:
i7-4790K
GTX 970
16GB ram
HDD
Latest Windows and Driver

I play everything on low and still getting 45ish fps which is very playable. I end my 8 hours playthrough a bit after the interlude. I'm happy with it.

Then today I got into the game and constantly getting 10-15 fps with the same setting as yesterday. I even tried lowering the resolution scaling to 50 and set my resolution to 1024x768 and still getting the same 10-15 fps and even worst when in combat.
