As a PC player I had higher expectations from CDPR, game is very buggy, lots of glitches and frame drops.
Hoping to see some quick patches.

Have the same problem. I have to play on low, but with my specs I should be able to play on high. I'm really dissapointed. I was hoping for great optimalization, but I was wrong. I wont upgrade because I have recommended. So I hope that some patches will fix this and I'll be able to play on high how I supposed to.

The same problem, no matter what I do with the settings, the fps always remains within 20.

Reposting here:

Heya, I'm on what I think can be considered a Low-End PC these days.

I'm on a GTX 1080 TI with an i7 7700K; 32gb ram on SSD.
Using the latest 460.79 driver + Patched - 1440p resolution.

In the starting city area I see 45-55 frames MAX, be it on LOW, Medium or High - almost NO difference between low and high, haha

The more I move around the city, the lower the FPS gets. I haven't even tried driving yet.

Also: texture detail setting, LOW-MID-HIGH - does not make a single framerate difference, I assume this is linked to the card memory (11gb in my case)

Disappointed is an understatement. Wish I had waited TBH.
For me, it's unplayable, even on LOW. I think it's my CPU that sucks or something. Not sure if I should refund it or not.

I'll get to enjoy it in a year or two once I set up a new rig, maybe, but I think that those recommended specs might have been a bit misleading.

I'm using RT 2060 Super/ Ryzen 5 3600/ RAM 16 GB/ 1080p monitor

Yeah, I think the game is not optimized (this is dissaponting after so many delays). Actually this game capable between 30 fps (shooting/ fighting state) - 45 fps (free roam state) using Ultra+ RTX on with RT Lighting Ultra

But, sometime in the same location I walk in different time (after some progress) the fps drop to 20-25 fps. And, in some case when the game stable in >30 fps and then I go to photo mode and then exit the photo mode I got fps drop to 20 fps???. I hope CD Projekt Red optimize this game more

Ryzen 9 3900x 32gb 3600mhz Nvidia GTX980 ,m2 sabrent with the game on it and a samsung evo 500gb just for win10. Everything updated and clean windows install.

Every detail set to low and off, res 1920*1080. Top performance outdoor 25 fps. Indoor it goes from 34 to 15 depending on what indoors. Standard FPS is around 27 . Unplayable. TAA always present and smearing everywhere. Tried to force it off from the config file under appdata to no avail. There's no way this game would run on a 770 minimum reguired. No way. Not many bugs, but some are there like npcs teleporting etc, the usual everybody is saying.

AMD 5800x
gtx1080

Game is broken as shit, runs super low fps no matter what setting. Strange thing is even on the ultra preset while it runs super low fps it still looks terrible with bad shadows and low quality textures that don't load properly. Witcher 3 looks and performs like a next gen game compared to this... yet CP which is marketed as a 'next gen' game with a new engine thats meant to be a step up from The Witcher 3. It's unacceptable to have it delayed and delayed after a decade of development from a world class game studio only to come out looking like Outer Worlds on low settings and performing like flight sim at 4k ultra

i7 8700k, 32gb ram, 1080ti. 3440x1440.

Default game settings it sets is ultra. Getting 30-38 fps and in action scenes it drops to mid 20's. Turned off film grain and motion blur. I also changed everything to high and it didn't do much more to my fps, maybe +5.

Game looks great but I can't really play it smoothly. Cpu usage is 27% and GPU is usually at 98%. Vram usage about 4-6gb depending where I'm at in the game.

Here are some thoughts:
Nvidia geforce gtx 780: cuda cores - 2304, bus width - 384 bit, bandwidth - 288Gbit/s
Gtx 1050 Ti: cuda cores - 768, bus width - 128bit, bandwidth - 112Gbit/s
Gtx 1060(6Gb): cuda cores - 1280, buswidth - 192bit, bandwidth - 192Gbit/s
Gtx 1080/1080ti: cuda cores - 2560/3584, buswidth - 256/352 bit, bandwidth - 320/484 Gbit/s
Gtx 1660: cuda cores - 1408, buswidth - 192bit, bandwidth - 199 Gbit/s
So.... Either the game is demanding on the cores or on the bandwidth

RTX 2080 and Ryzen 2600X locked to 20 FPS. 460.79.
Changing settings do not affect FPS. It's locked, no vsync. Tried DDU and new drivers like 10 times and nothing.

Im in the same situation.. 5900X , RTX 3080 , 32 GB Ram.. getting 26-35fps. doesnt matter if 1080p, 1440p or 4K, im stuck at 32-46% GPU Usage and 18-28% CPU Usage. Even changing everything from ultra to low and DLSS/RTX on/off has no impact on FPS.. already tried to reinstall drivers multiple times (with DDU deinstallation) and other tips.. nothing worked :(

Regarding the Day 1 Patch: If the Game versions shows 1.03 on PC you should already have it

im barely able to hold 60fps on medium-low settings. im above the recommended specs for high settings, so it is quite frustrating. i bit the bullet and turned on the static resolution scaling with a minimum of 80% so i could at least get 50 in the more densly packed areas of the game, but im still quite upset that i am forced to play the game while it looks like a piece of saran wrap is over my monitor. i have full faith that cdpr will fix the performance swiftly, im just a little upset.

Jarex985 has a much better computer and shouldn't be getting issues he has

Bulint02, your computer is ancient, time to upgrade, or go to a lower resolution

Hey guys, I just wanted to say that it seems like none of the performance settings make any difference in my fps at all besides ray tracing and DLSS. Luckily I'm able to maintain around 60 fps with everything on ultra (including Ray Tracing) and with DLSS in performance mode. I'd like to be able to crank down some settings for a smoother experience though so I could use DLSS Balanced.
I tested it quite a bit last night. I also got three CTDs over the course of 6 hours.
Specs are i7-10700k
EVGA FTW3 Ultra Gaming RTX 3090
32 Gb Ram
Samsung 970 Pro M.2 SSD
