Performance problems

First issue im experiencing is some "micro-stuttering" inside cave areas for some reason. Not the entire cave but parts of the cave where there's a light source pretty much, i look directly at those, strafe left to right and it feels stuttery, but looking away from that its all smooth, its weird. At first i thought its just a demanding type of light source causing it to cripple my performance but then i realized my framerate never drops a frame when it does it so things just got more confusing.

I suspected it could be my SLI setup as SLI setups can sometimes cause Micro-Stutters but it still happens with only one GPU enabled so thats not it. Tried experimenting with Vsync and framerate limiters cause i know those eliminate stuttering, well atleast it does for me with my other games, like Metro2033, i stutter at steady 60Fps but if i limit my framerate to 59 its all smooth. Tried to do the same with Witcher 2, but limiting framerate didn't do anything, and trying out different Vsync solutions (D3Doverrider/ Nvidia Forced On/Adaptive) not using the ingame one just made things worst, specially with the Nvidia Vsync Adaptive, gave me some nasty stuttering and screen tears.

So yeah i dont really know how to fix that, if anybody is experiencing the same problem and knows how to fix it, please share the solution, it would be much appreciated.

Oh and almost forgot, i have tried the Witcher 2 stutter fix already and it just made things worst im afraid.

Second problem is Cinematic DOF, before the patch it ran fine, no framerate drops, now its a power hungry setting for some reason. It doesn't drop my performance all the time its in effect, but sometimes it is really bad. Idk if its just me though, but with 3 580's running the game, cinematic DOF should run fine, its not like im trying to run ubersampling here, it ran fine before the patch so this is really confusing me. Could it be my drivers?, im running 301.24, before i was using 295.73, could that be it?.

But yeah, anybody have same problem with Cinematic DOF?, any solutions?

TW2 EE takes a lot out of your PC. with the same setting, my framerate has dropped as well, so best we could do is decrease the various graphics settings. texture downscaling also helps a lot to increase performance

EE just seems abit more unoptimized for some reason. But ill try experimenting with the settings and see whats causing these problems.

we explained in other topics, as said cinematic depth of field got changed in the EE version and now is uber demanding. You can see it every time the effect kicks in in cinematics, fist fights and meditation.
