Persistent items?

i hope i wrote that right :)
Not sure if this has a thread somewhere.

Is there a know how diffrent items or things respawn or disappear in the game? If i drop lets say a sword to the beach. Will it still be there after 1000years? can i loot the same house over and over again just by meditating couple days between? I dont think it was like that in witcher2.
Also saw in that one video player had driven boat to shore and he had broken it earlier. Can you brake/sink all the boats in the game and how u ever go sailing again :D

no one knows (yet)

actually i would assume you can loot stuff only once, also you can't store things in chests. I would say once you looted something, it stays like this forever, and once you drop a sword, it will disappear after some time.

breaking all the boats and thus loosing the ability to sail would be quite stupid, but maybe you can even do that. i would rather expect boats to be respawning once you destroyed them. they would respawn at their location, there where you found it in the first place.

There are a *lot* of boats. You'd have to try pretty hard to break them all.

Yeah i bet. Its just always been my nature to start think of how certain mechanics in games work and finding ways how to brake them. But this game i play for the story so dont think thats goin to be the case. I think i fried a nintendo gamecube once experimenting with metroid prime 2:)
