I'm not the brightest bulb in the ceiling, however, I have an idea. Could work, or it couldn't. What if Phantom Liberty got more endings and the "One more gig" option? I wanna know if y'all would like that or not. Thanks for reading this 
Seems nearly impossible to add endings to Phantom Liberty without some major rewriting of the story (and so the expansion). So don't count on it. It will be more probable to have a new expansion (but clearly not in a short term, more like some time before Orion, and even in that case, seems a slim probability).

I’m not quite sure I understand what you’re proposing here.
The ‘one more gig’ option appears after the end credits of the main game’s story, and just drops you back to a point in time from before you went to Meet Hanako at Embers™.
Phantom Liberty’s endings take place before ‘Nocturne Op55N1’, with the exception of the ‘The Tower’ ending, which just skips it entirely,

Not sure how it would work. Like @Dunaedine said, it would requires some serious rewritting.
Beside Phantom Liberty already have three "endings" :
- One at the very beginning of Phantom Liberty which closes the main questline almost before it even beggins.
- One at the very end which also closes Phantom Liberty main questline.
- One which is added to the main game endings but unlike the other base game ending, which doesn't offer the "One More GIG" option.
So the easiest way to add more ending would be to also add them to the base game endings

Y'all are right as nd thanks for the feedback. Maybe they could actually add more expansions (as for what @Dunaedine said). As for what I meant, I was trying to say that you should still be able to continue on that file after you get an ending because I wouldn't want to reload the save but when you press the continue part, you still get the rewards like how you would in base game (Hopefully that made sense @shadowm0ss), and then also have the endings be base game endings (as what @LeKill3rFou said)
