Well, do you mean a cure for the disease as experienced by an individual, or a cure for the epidemic?Answer to the former is probably the same as most medieval plagues - living or dying is a function of physical fitness and chance. The latter? Sort of.See, when you have a disease that's deadly, incurable, and contagious, the only rational response is kill and burn every infected host.Anything else is just plain irresposible .. in fact, simply by not culling, you're to blame for any new infections.Inaction is an act.

Do you mean the plague that devastates the citizens of Vizima? Apart from the quarantine there isn't any precaution.

Plague of Catriona is in fact the same plague that devastated medieval Europe. Why and how it happened to appear in Witcher's realm... well, i don't want to ruin your fun, so you've got to read last tome of saga :)

That was cruel :'( I'd love to follow your advice, but unfortunately the novels have been translated only to languages I don't understand well enough to read them. At least we just got Sword of Destiny, but we'll probably have to wait years for the rest of the saga.

As well as not being available in any retail stores around here.Really, I'd like to read the books sometime, but I have a lot of books to read, as well as a lot of other stuff to do (computer games being one of them), so ordering them online is just a bit too much effort.

While Ciri wanders through the various spaces, a flea jumps into her hair, and while she phases into her world for a moment, the flea jumps off and boards the ship, Catriona. Then it jumps onto an old rat and later, the rat escapes the ship and a ginger cat kills it, but does not eat it - later on the cat is shown dying and a hint is shown that his owner will be dying soon, thus the plague started
