I agree, that game looks very promising. Will check it up when I get home.

EDIT: Interesting. It was developed by a team of indie developers formerly from BioWare. Who knew.

Hmmm, well that gives me second thoughts. I admit it does look promising however, though some of the enemies look a bit silly.

A year ago there was a free tutorial on Steam, that walked you through some of the combat stuff, I think it's neat.
And yes, the pair of developers that came up with the game are Ex-Bioware... I think all in all this is one of the best examples that Bioware could ve given us in these last years... they chose a different route nonetheless: Short dev cycle and multiplayer/dlc feast.

Played a little Banner factions last year and it was super-fun - but for the shortest time. That said, I would agree that it is gorgeous (in a Masters of the Universe kind o way). I'll likely pick up the full game when it goes on sale.

Well if some of you are on the fence to get it or not, maybe this will help you figure out if it's the game for you...

Im currently playing the Broken Age beta (only available for backers). It's lovely... It pushes all the right buttons so familiar of the old LucasArts games... />

Art style is mesmerising, and the voice over is top notch. />

Played for about 30 minutes of Banner Saga on firends Steam account its impressive so far. I don't want to play anymore, I will buy it for mylself. I think they are worth supporting.

Highly recommended, combat is similar like in FF:tactics. turn based rpg. Artwork is very impressive.

Banner Saga mechanics, besides combat, looks similar to the King of the Dragon Pass, which is an awesome old strategy game, which also features multiple choice hard decisions that influence well being of your kingdom.

So, I picked up Puzzle Quest: Galactrix in a recent Steam sale and wanted to warn everyone away from a game that owes everything to luck and nothing to skill.

Playing Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, installed the Firestorm Over Kronus mod and EMPEROR'S HOLY TROUSERS this is one damn ambitious mod, really replicates the tabletop experience. Mite bit too complicated and doesn't flow as well as the base game, but still a masterpiece and really ambitious.

Still only problem is i'm playing the Blood Raven's campaign and Davian Thule is the most boring and dry character in the whole game, especially when compared to the magnificent Eliphas, earnest General Alexander (who is not a patch on Sturnn,) the condescending Taldeer and great old Gorgutz who iroically for an Ork is the wittiest of the lot.

It's another example of a damn boring protagonist, and he so doesn't have to be, what with the Blood Raven's background. The Chapter lore is bloody interesting, Raven's don't dream for instance due to a mutation in their geneseed, they have the most Librarian's of any chapter and are probably descended from a loyal branch of the Thousand Son's. All this should be exploited to make them more interesting, why not make the Commander a Librarian for instance, plotting move and counter move by making use of his psychic spying as the Raven's are supposed to.

Ah well still enjoying this, hope DOW 3 comes out some time and is ambitious, don't know what's going on with Relic.

Finished the Banner Saga, well let's just say I had a screwed up journey in the final part where my decisions came to bite me in the ass...sigh

It was pretty interesting story wise. Lots of choices with consequences, some even consequences that only showed themselves many hours later.

As for gameplay. It's ok, not amazing though. Played it for about 15 or so hours.

I know that graphics it's not most important thing in game but Dark Souls 2 looks like game for Play Station 2.

Can anybody tell something about Hitman?

Because there's a STEAM offer with it?:p/>

The first Hitman games havent aged well -graphically-I think. And the most recent one, is but a shadow of the older ones. There are other, similar Stealth games that are much better, IMHO.
Here bellow you have a much better example; controls are a bit clunky, but the story -2nd World War theme- is 10 times better... again, IMHO. :)/> And you can get it for 5 bucks on Steam right now, which doesnt hurt either... :p/>

Absolution is the best Hitman game, no question. But.. it's not for everyone. You can finish the game gun blazing not carring about the score or that you were noticed 20 times by guards and still finish the game in 2 hours.

But the way it ment to be played is stealth, hiding bodies and setting up traps for your target to make death look like a accident this takes time and patience... I personally enjoyed every moment of the game. It has funny moments/easter eggs if you stop and listen to random chatter.

Trying to beat your steam friends score is motivating.
