AI is indeed better than in other titles I played recently. In TW2 I can fool enemies by rolling behind them and just backstabbing them do death, but here it's not that easy, they will turn really fast and hit you before you recover from roll. Plus they use combos, shields and throw bombs on your head from above.e-ahmet said:Wow, gregski! The enemies drink potions? And mid-fight? That sounds like a good AI work.

Uhm.. KOTOR games? And of course there's Jade Empire: Special Edition for PC which focuses on Asian mythology & martial arts so it doesn't have traditional medieval setting.Aver said:Looking for non-fantasy RPG with interesting characters, any suggestions? Jade Empire is okay. Not brilliant but.... okayAver said:Looking for non-fantasy RPG with interesting characters, any suggestions? (I already played Alpha Protocol, Deus Ex, ME, Fallout, Vampire games).
Only problem I had with that game was that the story was terrible and it got boring and repetitive very very fast. The magic system was awesome though.FREEWOODS said:TWO WORLDS II
it has some major elements i miss in witcher 2. - really opened landscape. Just you with your horse..animals around not necessarily attacking you ... what a sense of freedom.. (in pc game![]()
My laptop, ISP, and Steam account are having a bit of a tiff at the moment, but I've been looking at this game and plan to pick it up when I get my tech issues sorted. Glad to hear you liked it.siklara said:I just finished Cryostasis and I still can't believe how sad and beautiful its story is, the ending was completely unexpected and I'm utterly amazed. I dont mind the cartoonish graphics so much in other games, but it feels out of place in this game. At least in Fable the story was presented to you as if it was a fairy tale book....this game uses its cartoonish look to try to recreate LOTR out of all things!JackintheGreen said:Regarding Kingdoms of Amalur:
Yeah, the heads of the creative process seem like a dream team... but Im really tired of this kind of game...
Dowloaded the demo, played for almost 2 hours.
The obvious positives are the dinamic combat and lush colours and graphics (though I personally cant stand anymore this cartoon type of thing, it reminds me of World of Warcraft and Dragon Age 2).
The negatives(for me): Very generic music and Voice-overs (aside from Claudia Black, who is the narrator).
The story (rather the plot starting point) I find obscure (difficult to follow) and the setting is just a Lord of the Rings ripoff (you're the chosen one to wipe out the badies that live in the dark East and theaten to eat up all the lovely idylic/English countryside...).
All the quest/exploration and dialogs are really spoon-fed to you.
Having said that, those of you who loved FABLE, World of Warcraft or Everquest, will feel right at home, I guess.
