Please help! Very loud high pitched squeak when Geralt walks
A number of users (myself included), are bothered by the very loud high pitched squeak that occurs whenever Geralt walks. Related threads:

It seems to be coming from the Wolf amulet, although I am not positive. Turning off "effects" volume silences it - although obviously that's not a great solution since I'd like to listen to the other sound effects in the game.
It would be great to have an option to turn this down/off. I play on PC and would be willing to edit files if given the instructions.
