poison Grenades and hacks break stealth

I am assuming it is a bug that poison grenades break stealth, when they are in the stealth tree, and the damage is effected by stealth. The grenade itself doesnt alert the targets, the act of them being poisoned seems to alert the room however, which seems to defeat the purpose of stealth poison grenading.
 
The hacks could be explained in-world as faulty implants, but a gas grenade makes no sense to be stealthy, imo.

Except poison damage scales from the stealth tree.

Poison grenades don't make any noise.

Kills with poison grenades level stealth and not tech.

The grenades don't alert enemies, the act of them being affected by poison does.
