In a future we can teleport our self to any dedicated point in the city, it doesn't surprise me that the police has the technology, that once a crime is reported by anyone on a specific area, that they could triangulate your location and promptly show up.

I have no excuse for their lazy asses never wanting to run more than a block and hunt the perpetrator. I'd really dig some fast, tire screeching car chases to sound of the awesome tunes included.

In a multiplayer scenario, we could gather up to 4 ppl in the same car, after a bank heist, have 1 driving, the other 3 shooting at police cars, motorbikes and drones.
After, we'd meet in a quiet location to split the prize and we'd get on a massive fight because 2 of the 4 had previously agreed to flatline the others. You manage to escape but without your piece of the cake. You could then be given the option to call a 5th player, to help you out..

Back on the subject, another fun thing would be, too many crimes at one time, no cops available to deploy.

our ability to fast travel...(not teleportation) is explained via public transportation, I saw a yt clip of someone on one of the highest buildings in night city armed with a sniper, he was all alone, he took down a civvie and bam, 12 cops spawned on top of the building, no amount of star trek lore can explain that one away, as for the multiplayer scenario, you word for word explained gta 5 heists :) no offense, I don't want a cyberpunk multiplyer game thats a clone of gta 5. ( btw, there is no teleportation tech in cyberpunk at all...)

I was disappointed to see the crime gigs don't respawn and that once they're gone...they're gone, a better solution imho would have been to have a fluid crime "layer" imposed over the map, the more crime you stop in a sector means it quietens down after a while and at the same time, the crims move to other city sectors and thus crime rises, kind of like a radiant/repeatable quest system for *batman* wannabes.

I am really curious to see how they manage the multiplayer cyberpunk game, given the controversy surrounding details/expectations of the singleplayer game, I am hesitant to preorder this time, I would want to see what I am buying first, I think if it does get released, I'll be waiting a year before I buy it.

ahah the star trek reference!
Never played GTA5, but have watched a couple of videos to be fair.

Something fun to implement would also be radars and speeding tickets.
We would be given more options to upgrade/hack our cars to avoid radars for a period of time, these would have to cooldown before we could use them again.

yea, without it turning into need for speed most wanted or gta, I do think some police car chases would be epic, I mean they have car races in the game already.

I think they need to sort out vehicle handling first. Driving every vehicle is like trying to pilot a yacht in a storm.

I actually wouldn't mind a "GTA Online approach" if it's not turning into a bad copy but more so simply a copy of the same general approach:

You get an "open world" (City and Surroundings) with a bunch of players and many server instances, with the possibility to get "private servers" (in the sense of the modded GTA RP and other custom servers), you get more or some other sort of character customization, possibly get to buy property and mange it and cars instead of all coming out of or into the Watson apartment, get to do social activities and mini-games throughout the city and maybe get to get rep with factions or join 'em.

If the gameplay convinces, that's fun for years to come. Is more thrilling to me than playing some Battle Royale or some coop or adversary mode on a limited small map in the world (akin to CS:GO or COD). I like persistent and open world elements more.
