probably around £20, although considering the state of the game at launch, i would need to see a lot of footage before purchasing.

OK let me put it this way: Say you give me the train and I give you as many €$ as there's stops in the Night City.

Deal?

For a simple story-expansion, nothing.

If the expansions adds RPG-relevant features and systems, it just might be a deal for 10-20€ depending what it is that gets ”expanded”.

CDPR needs to tread carefully with paid content/expansions, they have a LOT to make up to the community/customers/fanbase.
Launch was a total disaster, not much to add.

Honestly I don't think so. In view of ratings on Steam and on the Xbox Store (I don't know on the other platforms, maybe not as good on Playstation for sure), a large majority of players have enjoyed to play Cyberpunk. I'm not talking of "Game of the year" nor an "incredible experience", simply "have enjoyed to play it".
For sure it was not a "great launch", but it was not a "desaster" at all, like some think/say/write about it.

So I'm quite confident that if expansions are in the same kind as the main game, they will sell rather well :)

Yes totally....I think 20 bottlecaps is a fair price:p
This sent me right back to school.

I haven't decided if I will be buying expansions one by one if there's more than one, or just wait for the final version of the game. Didn't try any of the patches or free DLC and have no desire for now.

It really depends...there are too many unknowns, and I'd like to see them address QOL issues before asking for more money.

I'm not gonna preorder anything and I'm only considering buying an expansion after
a) the next-gen version is out an acceptable
b) they have improved their communication and I know what I can expect in the future regarding content
c) They fix the fucking endings. Either via DLC, patch or expansion. But I won't touch the game again until I know for sure that V has a chance to live.
d) the expansion has been thoroughly tested by media and consumers - I'm never going to buy a CDPR product again without making absolutely sure they deserve my money and trust.

As much as it depends on the DLC itself, it depends even more on how much CDPR fixes the base game before releasing said DLC.

Not a penny. Not unless the base game is significantly improved from it's current state. If they want to gain trust back they have to go the NMS route IMO.

I enjoyed the game as well, but i also think the launch was a disaster. It doesn't have anything to do with how many people bought the game or how many enjoyed it. It was a disaster because of what we already know and how it was handled.

"Not sure" because I'd be willing to buy at almost any price, but they're not going to make the expansions I'm willing to pay for. My biggest issue with the base game was feeling like my V was the wrong kind of V, so I'm not spending another cent on anything that continues the trend.

Don't care for more Johnny content. Not buying anything that doesn't fix the endings or add anything to River's horrifically neglected arc. I'd even be willing to buy a midgame expansion that adds another fleshed out option for a straight female V, but they're just not going to make it. If all the (non)attention River has been given in patches in anything to go by, I'd be shocked if he shows up in any expansions at all (outside of a poorly photoshopped text or two.)

I'd buy anything that felt like it was meant to fix how otherizing it felt to compare my experience to a Panam/Judy romancer, but I'm not really looking to repeat or add to that initial miserable experience.

b) communication
c) endings
also these two things

If after installing said expansion, load the game and realize all was nothing but a dream(?), johnny never existed, and V was just one of many personalities, product of my schizophrenic condition. Judy sexual orientation is unknown, Panam is a man, Jackie is still alive and is the actual barman at the coyote while Pepe is the actual AI behind what was believed to be DeLamain, while Delamain in reality provides joytoy services and holds the highest number and variety of chrome escorts... you can travel back in time and change the present using braindances, given these are loaded in the metaverse! of course this would only work if we had the audacity of prdicting a "metadance" would come useful in the future and had recorded it! yes! I cybermetapunk!! take my money

I have zero interest in story expansion but if it's something that allows me to enjoy the game itself then I would be interested because I still haven't beaten the game yet and I would like to be able to get something out of my initial purchase even if that means paying in a little more. That being said it would have to be something significant that made the game enjoyable to play.

That depends. I'd pay good money for an expansion with a new character who starts out as a nobody, but has his sites set on becoming a legend in Night City. Something that lets me play the game and make my character act the way I want to. In an interactive city. In other words, a real RPG story. Should be easy; there's certainly enough feedback lying around to guide the designers.
