Would love to see either more Geralt or a completely new witcher (a younger one so you can romance Ciri -oh lord yes pls). Either way, more of the witcher universe is what I personally would like to see. I don't care about cyberpunk 2077; I don't like futuristic games that much, while the witcher has a hugely detailed backstory with lots of potential (ellander, brokilon, kovir,...) for new lands.
For some reason i would still prefer Geralt, in my mind it is really hard to imagine Witcher without him and his company ofcourse. But dont get me wrong, i am really happy for how the story ends, especially with Geralt and Yennefer, i would just rly like to see a proper end story. For example if you end up with Yenn, maybe do cuple of quests, add a contract here and there for Geralt (he is a witcher nevertheless), maybe involve some other characters... Like you said they need to do post end-game content. If they make that kind of expo, then i guess it will be really the end for Geralt (i would still want to see him in new game, if there will be, if possible)

I'm tired of this trend of single player games being turned into multiplayer games, or having multiplayer components that take away time, budget, and man power from the single player portion of the game.
Knights of the Old Republic got bastardized into the MMO The Old Republic. Mass Effect 3 became streamlined into almost a purely action game because they just had to add a MP component. And Dragon Age Inquisition is basically an MMO with its boring fetch quests and equally boring MP component.
I think diferent from you because there is allways some plotting to kill or dethrone emperors and kings even the best ones, and in Ciri's case there are people trying to "control her blood" this is why i think Withcers one is the best for her. It is what she love and want to (and she says it to you a lot of times during the story, plus she is perfectly capable to take care of any kind of monsters she meets.
i#d love to see add ons for TW3 beyond the so far announced 2, so that the explorable game world of the world map gets expanded. just look at it how much unexplorable countries there are, so much free space that is good potential for Add Ons to give the game more endgame content for when you have compelted the game together with a NG+ function to unlock step after step more of the additional countries with lots of new explorable places, quests, hunts ect.,
I'd love to go explore places like Cidaris, Kovir, Dorian, Wyzima (not only the palace thign, but also back to the town and all the stuff known around TW1 to see, what happened there after all the time), Maribor, Bremervoord, Gemmeria, Mahakam, Aedirn (would love to revisit Saskia and **** the **** out of her lol , so sad that this option didnt exist in TW2, love with a dragon, would be his first time lol ^^), Toussaint/Beauclair and Dol Blathanna or for once return to geraltshometown RIVIA.. don#t you find it weird, that we couldnt go to Rvia in any of the games
in his home country Lyria.
Tons of other regions that would be sweet to explore one day, like Mettina, Niilfgaard self, Etolia, the desert Korath, Angren,Gheso and so on..the world of the Witcher is much much bigger, than what we have explorable in the games and from the shear amount of unexplorable places, you could basicalyl double to triple the size of TW3 easily
However, I share the opinion, as long as the main game has yet so many bugs ect. these thigns hsould get priorized together with the 2 add ons that have been announced so far and surely won't be as big as to add new explorable regions
PS: but id love to see also one day a Witcher 4 with Ciri as Geralts perfect successor to make with her the next trilogy, while Geralt has his fun with either Triss or Yennefer living in peace together xD (having maybe here n there some guest appearances ^^)

The Witcher 3 has very good ending of Geralt's story. But(!) I think Ciri's story is only just begining. Why? You ask. The White Frost was not destroyed. Ithlinne's Prophecy says at the first - world must be perish. And then reborn again from the Ciri's blood (elder blood)

The prophecies in the world of the Witcher have enormous executive power. So I think that story is not overIthlinne's Prophecy said:

There will always be Emperors, Empresses, Queens, Kings, wealthy merchants, soldiers, barons, farmers, peasant and common folk. If Ciri isn't the ruler of Nilfgard then someone else will be. Or maybe Nilfgard will fall into ruin, I don't see that as a particularly bad thing.
However - what Ciri and Geralt did towards the end of witcher 3 was not only save an empire or country but save the world as a whole.
Therefore: Witcher Work > Ruler Work
I can see no better place for Ciri to put her talents to work, besides she's an adventurer. Do you really want to lock her up in some stuffy throne room? No way.
1) More expansions sound good
2) Every Witcher game had a predefined protagonist. CDP should keep it that way
3) Dont have any interest to play as Ciri

Why is it so hard for people to make unbiased polls? Where is the option to vote for a Witcher 4 where you play as Geralt and not Ciri? Prequel of some sort would be fine in my book if CDPR continues to want W3 to be the definitive end of Geralt's story. I don't want all new characters or a completely fresh start. I want to kick some more ass with Geralt while following a new epic story-line and setting that rivals W3 and gives me another 150+hrs of gameplay.
Totaly agree with you plus as a Witcher she dont need to mary some morron (cause she loves women) and follow her passions. Oh and seeing her as a witcher in a next TW4 because she have a beutiful story do discover and life.

I find it odd that they reserved all of 2016 for TW3 when the second expansion is due to be released in like the first couple months of that year. Can't say for sure that means we'll get more content but I hope so. Post-ending if possible would be my preference. The fact that they're still looking for Quest Designers with knowledge of the Witcher Saga is a sign that they're not done with the setting in my opinion.

Witcher ending:
Emphyr furious at Geralt about lying to him about Ciri hunts him down and sends many agents to kidnap Geralt in order to lure Ciri to Nilfgaard. Ciri finds out and sets off with Triss and Yennefer to rescue Geralt.
Empress ending
Geralt visits Nilfgaard to witness Ciri's coronation. An assassin attempts to take her life but Geralt kills him. in order to find out who is behind the assassination Geralt, Ciri, Triss and Yennefer search leads and takes care of the threat.
Disappear ending
Geralt now a depressed drunk has a dream about Ciri in danger, he sets out with Triss and Yennefer to find Avallac'h who is in Nilfgaard for some reason They find Ciri being pursued by the remnants of the Wild Hunt who are secretly working with Avallac'h.
then just beef up the expansion with side quests to be done around Nilfgaard

Honestly I vote more expansions in witcher 3 ....ans I would love more expansions rather witcher 4 .
The world already is created and it is beautifull and so manny things can be added .So manny variations of animals , humans , loot , explorations ,contracts , arena ,miniduels , new game plus .
The story it is perfect like this ...but remains space to add , new dialogues options for example .
And the story ended already .
The best thing is that devs should concentrate making as better they can witcher 3 .

I assume after the expansions the rest of the team will be moving over to Cyberpunk, unless they already have another project to start on. Aside from more DLC I doubt we will see any more Witcher in the near future.
