POP INS ....... CDPR please respond

Although I can luckily say this has been the only issue I have faced as my rig is very beefy, this pop ins issue has become almost
immersion breaking.

Models do load but the poping is very annoying.

Textures seem t load at HD only when I run up to the models too.

This isnt a glitch rather a fault with programming.

Everything bar hair works is set to ultra. is there a way to increase the area of influence / loading or better yet
please address this issue in the next patch it is preventing many people from enjoying the game to its full capability.

No demanding responses from developers on this forum, save your breath, you will not get an answer. The problem is widely observed and known to the developers. Some kind of solution will eventually be forthcoming, but it would be foolish to make promises until they have had a go at getting it done.

Apologies if this seemed demanding and yes I am aware of the wide response but I have a right as a consumer of the product to also voice my opinion.
and yes I have been and will be waiting patiently for a patch or a fix to the situation.

Pop-ins happen... There wont be a patch that will eliminate a pop in from across the map. Can they tweak some things? yes. Can they or anyone 100% eliminate objects from loading across the map? No.

Very Beefy rigs can only run on High, sorry.

If you want to go Ultra, you need to invest in Extremely Beefy hardware.






Seriously, if you haven't already, try boosting your TextureMemoryBudget=1600 ​in user.settings file under MyDocs/Witcher3

My post was in response to your statement.

@GuyNwah's point was fairly clear anyway. It's not difficult to see why some things don't get responses, unless of course if you are of the misinformed opinion that CDPR is not bothering to support this game anymore.

Thank you , ill look to altering that in the my document setting.

Is there any other tweaks that can help with popping, or can you point me to the right guide.

I'v read many but more so in regards to expanding the area of draw distance etc

Not really. This seems to be the one that helps people, but it doesn't help everyone. Basically, the only way to stop pop-in is to take as much of the load off of your GPU and VRAM as possible...and even if you set everything to minimum specs, it still doesn't stop completely. I've tried, and I'm on a 980 ti with 6GB of VRAM.

As for your complaints, you can't handle them here -- this isn't the developer's communication channel. That's what the e-mail and ticket system are for. This is just a forum. If you haven't received a response to your tickets, keep sending new ones.

I think the load issue needs attention. I agree it can be annoying to see anything just appear out of thin air. I can't play this game till that is fixed. Also i like to see those funny walking worker guys carrying boxes and a few of the blacksmiths who can't have dialog because of some kind of glitch. of these things where fixed this game would be rockin.

What I'm most annoyed about is that sometimes someone will wear a helmet during "conversations/in-game rendered cutscenes", but when the cutscene shows him form afar, the helmet won't be on the head, when the camera zooms in really close it will suddenly pop in after a couple of seconds. Also, helmets just vanish from enemies that you decapitate at times.
All pop-in issues are very annoying, however, even if it's "just" textures.
