Possible to play thru the game with version 1.00? (PS-4)

Going to get flamed I'm sure for this..but since the game basically got ruined (for me) with patch 1.04, wondering if I delete and reinstall without the update onto my PS-4, if version 1.00 is playable from start to finish. That's what I intend to try I believe. Just want to make sure I don't get a ways in and come across a game breaker that won't allow me to finish.

It's certainly possible, but there are a lot of potentially quest breaking bugs that could affect your playthrough.

There is no harm in trying, since if you do encounter a bug that prevents you from progressing you can always patch it to the latest version.

your current saves won't be compatible with the unpatched version, so you will need to start from a scratch. dlcs won't work too. but what about the rest - it's worth a try, I know that some people have completed the game with day one patch (downloaded it together with the game in preload pack)
