Practicum In Advanced Alchemy - Can't Complete

Greetings, I was hoping to find some advice on finishing this quest.

It's a long chain and my quest log shows everything being completed and now it's just stuck at the end.

The last completed part of the chain is called: "Defend Fritjof while he completes the ritual"

I finished that and now nothing. I've read that I'm supposed to return to Grimist and I've tried that. He's just sitting outside of his cave saying the same thing about how "I've told you what needs to be done..."

When I track the quest no instructions show and nothing appears on the map.

Any ideas?

Did you try meditating? Try to travel Novigrad and back again? Have you collected that plant and visited distillery? If everything is done and meditating doesn't help, load previous save before ritual and try again. If that doesn't help, try loading a save before that quest line, if you still can do that.

I for one found the dist early before the quest was given. got the mash went to evap and nothing. Until i searched the cabin inside the cave inside and found the instruction using w senses. Then it allowed to finish the quest for liq spirit
