I suspect we'll get the official system requirements along with a just-in-time preorder campaign, about a month before release. It would be nice (hint, hint) if we could get official requirements before Black Friday. But I'm not holding my breath for it.Just a short question:

Yup. I have no doubt that the game will run and look great on AMD cards as wellI'm pretty confident that CDPR will optimize the game to run well on AMD cards also. Sure, Nvidia gets some more advanced physics (?) but I'm not too concerned about not being able to take full potential on those. I'm going to enjoy the game nonetheless.![]()
I've bought the Gtx 760. Those damn import taxes make almost impossible to buy a decent vga without robbing a bank lolMeh, here in Brazil gtx 780 coust almost the double of 770, I think I will pick 770
Also, 680 or 770, for what I read 770 it's a bit better and a bit cheaper
The prices of 770 wil reasonably low when they will launch the 800 series?
My expectatives are bad for this series, but if the prices low a lot I can even dream with a 780 (or 880, who knows)
Don't worry bro ;-) Soon i wil buy second 780 Ti for SLI and this monsters for sure provide stable 60 fps with maxed out. I tested SLI 780 Ti for almost week, and OMG. Crysis MSAAx8 with all maxed, 60 fps stable. Metro LL SSAAx3 60 fps 99% time (SSAAx4 50-60 ) Tomb Rider SSAAX4 - 60 fps. So "Witcher 3" can do that toNo news on this front I take it?
I am getting one of those fancy asus swift monitors as soon as they launch in north america. The g sync is simply too awesome an idea to pass up even if I haven't experienced it personally yet.
Then on my birthday it will be another 780ti for sli, heres hoping that will max EVERY setting in the game(minus ubersampling) with no fps drops below 60. I sort of doubt it will tbh, but hey, there is still hope.
What's the expected price for the new flagship cards? 500$?I think people should buy only maxwell GPU's, they are more efficient than Kepler cores, with a high margin. Check some leaks about maxwell lately.
And they say that a GTX870 and 880 will have a decent price also. So if you want to buy wither a 770 or 780 for Witcher 3, just wait for x-mas and buy a maxwell card.
Don't know if you have already got it working but here's link which might help you out: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/281423-32-showing-computerGot my build up and running yesterday:
The only 'problem' is that for some reason, my motherboard has trouble identifying my old 64GB Kingston V100 SSD drive. Sometimes it shows up while booting and sometimes it does not. Tried using both SATA Express and SATA 6Gb/s ports but the issue remains. Crucial works perfectly and so are my other HDDs no matter which SATA ports they're using so I assume it's some software related issue. I've yet to update my BIOS though..
Like that, more or less. What's the expected price for the new flagship cards? 500$?
I think if you are preparing for a 500$ flagship card you are setting yourself up for disappointment, and really, that is an unrealistic expectation, I am not sure what the 500$ price point is based on, but yeah.“As the production value of games continue to grow, I think we are going to see our ASPs grow,” said Jen-Hsun Huang during a conference call with financial analysts and investors. “So I would say that the dynamics of thePC gaming industry is really quite healthy, both in more and more players playing and ASPs increasing because of production value.”
Until nVidia can get volume production in 20nm, their costs are not going down, and they want to maintain their (enviable) gross profit margin to keep investors happy. So yeah. Maxwell will have a price-for-performance advantage, but probably not an advantage in absolute price.Really? 500$ flagship cards? Hmmm, that doesn't add up with the words of nvidias ceo, according to him prices are set to go UP not down.

RightWell, there wouldnt be a point in upgrading to a 870 or 880 if you have a 780 or 780 Ti. It still 28nm and the rumored performence jump wouldnt justify it.
And even with a card worse than 780 or 780Ti it probably wouldnt be wise to get one of those when 20nm cards will come next year, presumably.
