Prison Break siegfried

So I'm struggling on a decision here because i am not sure if it will have further impact on the game. most notably being able to spare siegfried at the end when i take the neutral part

Basically. Will i be able to spare siegfried if i went and killed the cockatrice on my own? :p

The decision has no long-term effects. Short-term:
Agreeing to let him help - he helps you get access to places faster.
Refusing to let him help - you get a little more XP for Prison Break.

Ah. I knew about the short term effects. Just not sure about the long term ones. but now that i know that there are none i feel safe to continue. Thanks for the fast reply :)

As far as I know if you let him help you, he will talk to the guards and you will be able to go to Dike freely. If you refuse, you have to bribe the guards.
