I'm having trouble aswell with the patcher, its not the .dzip one though:

\cookedPC\sounds\dlc_arena.fsb
\cookedPC\sounds\gui_global.fsb
\cookedPC\music\102_music.fsb
\cookedPC\music\103_music.fsb
\cookedPC\Movies\load_p_a1.usm
\cookedPC\Movies\mean_m_d.usm
\cookedPC\Movies\mean_m_w_iorweth.usm

*Edit* #these are the files that are corrupt in accordance to the installer, I can ignore them all and install the game and run it, but I'm sure it'll have negative effects later if I don't sort it out now...

any idea's which patch*.bin file I need to download again? have tried checking the size from the auto patcher download against the manual download ones but everything there seems the same.
Thanks.

I also tried downloading the TW2EE_Patch-1& TW2EE_Patch-2 files and using those to install with no luck.

I'm also having installation issues with Path EE. It's giving me "Connection Refused retrying in 10 secs" but it never retries. Does it have to be in a specific folder?

Make sure you are allowing the launcherexe access through your firewall and retry .

I've tried Tommy. It's giving me the same message. I never had this problem before installing patches

On March 24th I downloaded the initial Enhanced Edition files to the default Downloads folder using the patch installer. Today I launched the Witcher 2 application and it said EE patch is ready to install. I went ahead with the patch install. It asked for the same downloads folder and downloaded the remaining files. Upon applying the patch it said the cooked file was corrupted. File name is pack0.dzp and is over 10GB in size. This is the main installer package for the EE patch. I finally gave up and said abort to the patch install and attempted to try it again and now the Witcher 2 application will not launch. It did say when I aborted that the install was rolling back changes. So what are the next steps in correcting this? Did I possibly do something wrong? I allowed the launcher to run as administrator. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well..I tried to run just the patch part 2 and it fails. I then tried to relaunch the Witcher 2 Application to see if I can reinstall the patch and the application will not even start. So I am wondering if I should delete all the patch files from my Downloads folder to see if it will initiate the patch download again.

No i think you misunderstood the instructions, you do not try to run/open Part 2. The problem is the preload files have a corrupt part, that is Part 2, so you have to replace Part 2 with a none corrupted one and you can get a non corrupted Part 2 in the link i posted in that topic. You just download Part 2 from the link, then replace the old Part 2 with that one, basically copy it into your downloads folder where the preload files are and replace the old Part 2 file. After that run TW2EE_Patch (installer) and it should patch the game fine without any errors, assuming you did everything right.
