Problems with EE

Well, I just spent over 10 hours (!!!) downloading the EE patch from the launcher, but then I tried installing it and I got a crapload of those "corrupted source file" errors. Unfortunately, I didn't cancel the installation and chose "ignore" instead, so now that I've finished installing it I just end up with a launcher without any text.

So what can I do to fix this mess? Hopefully there's a way that doesn't involve reinstalling and/or redownloading... I don't have time for doing that again!

First of all ignoring an error on a 10gb file is a bad idea, never ignore errors on critical files. There are lots and lots of posts regarding the same issue abou the corrupted file. Just redownload manually files 1 and 2 from http://en.thewitcher.com/ee_manual/ and place them in the same folder where you have the rest of the patch files. After finished reinstall the patch and hope the error is gone. If not you'll have to check their md5 to determine which of the bin files are bad

Basically your have to manually download part2 of the EE patch and replace the corrupted file in the EE download folder. No need to re download just run patch installer again should be fine.
