Problems with quests in Skellige
I'm playing on version 1.08 and I encountered these two problems:
- I'm not able to find Nidas anywhere in Skellige after I agreed to help him finding a black pearl. He doesn't spawn where the marker points nor anywhere else in that area. I went there multiple times during my playthrough and I tried to wait for him meditating, but he never appeared. When I took the quest in the first place I still hadn't unlocked the Skellige area: could this be the cause of my problem? When we agreed to meet in Skellige I still had to go there for the first time.
- I'm not able to start the Cave of Dreams quest. I completed the "Phantom of Eldberg" quest, but I was never taken in Madman Lugos' dungeon. Now, when I try to speak to Madman as a free man I don't have the option to start the quest and If I try to go directly to Blueboy Lugos' ship it is empty. Could this be the result of an hardware issue? During my playthrough I played with "Details" set to "Ultra" for a long time. I never had framerate issues, but after a while I noticed that the game had difficulties in making NPCs appear. Many times I had to wait a lot for bartenders to spawn in taverns for example. When I realized that I went back to "high" setting (the reccomended level for my system) but I fear this could have caused some problems.
Is it possible to lose some content because of hardware issues? Could an excessive graphics setting prevent questgivers from appearing and/or key events from triggering?
