So...after getting your card, (If you don't know what I mean, ignore and go play)There is a branch in the dialogue with Triss where she says she has something shewants to teach you. Then the dialogue stops and she wanders off to her desk forand starts drinking the wine I already stole from her This is a confusing end to the conversation...I feel like something important is missing.Like...the part where she teaches me something...

This is true, I didn't get a card in that conversation but I did get her to say "there is something I must teach you" with the same abrupt ending. Oh well if its a bug I'll have to wait and see.

A lot of the dialog was cut when translating to english, maybe something got lost in translation? Or simply just wanted you to use your imagination

True, I think I learned it from that same scroll and I did help her instead of Vesemir...going with the hot babe seemed a much better choice than facing an overgrown bug.

How do you get the scroll though? Every time I do it, I get to the end of the conversation, she walks away, and when I talk to her again she doesnt give me anything

She just tells you the recipe and it appears in your journal.

The cat recipe is in the Book of the Swallow that you get automatically anyway... and you get a red meteorite if you help vesemir.

She gives you the formulae for a couple of potions, among them, cat -- very handy. That is what she is referring to, sorry nothing sexually related
