Quest Bug in a early gig

I can't complete the quest: gig: freedom of the press

It tells me to obtain the rewards and i already did but the quest is still not completed and stuck on that progress.

is there a way to end this quest ?

Do you have an earlier save game? I know that can be annoying, but often loading previous save games does the trick.

i did reload a ealier save twice. nothing helped

I have same issue. Quest just stuck on the drop point, i tried hack it, shoot, cameback later but still nothing. That's last gig left in Watson

i hope there is a dev console like in witcher 3 , so you can complete it via console command.

Same issue here. Submitted a ticket, but this is super disappointing. No doubt achievement progression is messed up now. Earlier save files are 8 hours of play time before this occurred. GG.

I completed the gig called "Bloody Ritual" and now every time I go to do another gig Regina Jones calls me and gives me the starting briefing for "Bloody Ritual" instead of the one I am about to start.

I created a secondary save and completed another job "Shark in the Water" and now Regina is giving me the starting briefing for that gig, while both "Bloody Ritual" and "Shark in the water" are listed as not completed in my journal. I got the funds and the green pop up for both of these jobs, but they end up back in my journal right after as if I never started them, unable to track or interact with them in any way.

This has effectively stopped me from being able to complete any side gigs because I don't want to either end up messing up my journal or corrupting my savefile, so I had no other choice but to backtrack to my previous manual save which was 6 god damn hours of playtime ago.

One would imagine that after 8 years of development such issues would had been caught in the QA process.

1.0.4 fixed the issue but still im further into the game there should be a fix also for user that completed that
or a function to restart mission!

Im not going to reload a save that i used 20 hours ago.

I didn't finish the Prologue before 1.0.4 dropped, and I didn't do any Gigs in NIB before patching.

The mission is still bugged for me and I can't complete it.

CDPR may say its fixed in the patch notes, but its clearly not.

Yep even after the patch, 1.04 it is still buged, just completed it today after the patch, and I can't complete the quest.

Diffrent problem here am in act 2 and as soon as i enter the main bulding regina callled and sad max is dead and the quest failed tryied to load diffrent earlier save but still the quest fails as soon as i enter the building version 1.04 ofc

Guess what! There is but they just removed it in version 1.05 ^-^ Isn’t that great? Why would they want to give us the tools to fix their broken game ourselves anyway? Better that it remain a buggy mess.

Wait you can do that, can you tell me how to do it before the pc patch comes around.
