Quest "Don't Wanna Hear It" doesn't start - Solved

I've completed "Rebel! Rebel!" and never got Kerry's phone call to start "I Don't Wanna Hear It". I have already done some side quests, a few gigs and skipped 24 hours a lot of times, but the quest never starts

More like I Don't Wanna Start It. I had no problem starting this particular quest, but it happened with other quests that included waiting for a call, maybe it is something with that. Try restarting your pc/console. Or if you have any previous save files before rebel rebel, load up and play it again, I was able to trigger a call to a certain quest after doing it, but idk maybe it's a coincidence.

I had to skip a few good days for it to start, at one point I even had to fast travel to some random place before Kerry called.

It's weird to have it set up like this right at the end of the game, it's a bit jarring.

So, I did the final mission and when I reloaded the save file Kerry called, I have no idea what happened lmao. Thanks for everyone who tried to help
