Quest Glitch? Suspect Thorak *Spoilers*

So I'm on the quest Suspect: Thorak. I killed Thorak earlier in the act and got his key, and I'm supposed to find a place to use it for the quest.

I'm at what I thought was the right place - the house with the wall I had to blow down for Baltimore's Nightmare and there is a small chest back behind where I knocked down the wall. I assumed this was where I was supposed to use the key but the game won't let me interact with the chest at all. It gives me the prompt to search it, but nothing happens when I try. I know I have the key in my inventory - am I in the wrong place or something? Or is this a glitch? Is there anything I can do?

The key gets you into Thorak's house. The only item of interest in there is Olcan's Receipt.

The box in Baltimore's workshop behind the blow-down wall is part of Baltimore's Nightmare. How far have you progressed in that quest? These mid-Act II quests interact in some strange ways.

I finished Baltimore's Nightmare.
So it sounds like I need to be in a different house, I'm guessing I already used that chest then. It still highlights whenever I use my medallion though, so I suppose that's what was confusing me.

Yes, a number of containers do that. It can be distracting. You did already use the contents of that chest; it was essential in Baltimore's Nightmare.

The key is to Thorak's house, which is the one just up and to the left of Baltimore's workshop.
